It is with great sadness that the family of Diane F. Dacey announces her passing, Tuesday November 10, 2020, at the age of 84 years old.
Diane grew up in Milton, MA and spent a lot of her time in New Hampshire. Her father and uncle operated the first rope ski tow on weekends in the winter and her parents had a successful homemade ice cream business in the summer in Bristol, NH. As an adult she spent many weekends in New Hampshire with her husband Jack.
Diane graduated from Milton High School (1954) and New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing.
Diane was a proud Army veteran serving from 1967-1969. At the age of 31, she enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam as a surgical nurse. In Vietnam she was first stationed in Qui Nhon in the 85th EVAC Hospital. Soon after, she was sent to Chu Lai in the 2nd Surgical Hospital which was a MASH Unit. At the end of July 1968, Diane received her orders that she had completed her tour in Vietnam. After returning home to the States she was stationed in Denver, CO.
Diane eventually found her way back to Milton, where she reconnected with her longtime friend John “Jack” Dacey and the two were married in 1970.
Diane dedicated herself to a nursing career at Milton Hospital for 42 years. She held many positions at the hospital and was well respected. During that time she made many friends with whom she remained close until her passing.
Friends were very important to Diane. She would host weekly dominoes games with ‘the girls”. Attendance was mandatory. The dominoes girls had all been friends since grade school and if you walked by her house during one of the games you could hear the laughter from the street.
Besides spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed gardening, reading, birdwatching, all animals, the theatre, crafts, and travel.
Diane was predeceased by her husband John P. Dacey, her parents George F. Jr. and Barbara Winslow Fellows, her brother Peter Fellows, her cousin Ralph Fellows Jr., and numerous in-laws from the Dacey family including her dear friend and sister-in-law Dorothy Bosworth.

On the early morning of Sunday, November 8, 2020, Mrs. Yvonne (Florent) Bosquet peacefully departed the land of the living and entered the kingdom of heaven with our Lord, our Father, Christ, while resting in the comforts of her home.
Yvonne Bosquet, formally known as Florent, was born on June 6, 1926, and raised in Thomonde, Haiti. Her parents, Florial Florent and Claire Melie Denizard, were two strong people who lived off the land, taught their children how to farm, and conducted commerce, cooking, and community value. She valued her family and the knowledge that was instilled in her to be able to assist the household. She spent her time and efforts making sure her younger brother, Hermann Florent, flourished in school and pushed him to be the man he is today. Their bond was inseparable. Even though she and her late sister Odelia had their issues, they were two peas in a pod. Family is what she has always had in her heart.
Love at first sight. The first time Arsene Bosquet laid eyes on Yvonne, he was determined to figure out who her relatives were. His determination worked out for him, and he was able to meet his soon to be bride and her witty personality that intrigued him about her. He married her when she was 18 and started their family immediately. He was openly welcomed into her family, and they grew their own family to 6 exceptional children who have survived both parents. Yvonne Bosquet lived a beautiful long life, filled with hardships that instilled intimate knowledge amongst all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Love and humor used to create meaningful relationships between each and every child she had. She believes each grandchild and great-grandchild was born out of her, where she would teach each one a biblical lesson. Her most outstanding achievement was her ability to invest in each person she loved.
What she enjoyed most was the ability to laugh, make jokes, and dance nonstop. Her sense of humor was electrifying and contagious.
She is survived by her younger brother, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Marie was born, raised and educated in St. Gregory Parish in Dorchester. She took great pride in being one of 13 siblings and never shied away from telling others of her large family. She was a proud sister and daughter. Marie’s purpose on earth was to nurture, both as a mother and a nurse, and she fulfilled her purpose to the fullest. She loved her children and her grandchildren fiercely, with every fiber of her being. If there ever was a soul made of true pureness and love it was that of Marie’s. She worked as a dedicated nurse for many years, most recently employed at Brookdale Assisted Living in Quincy. She loved being a nurse and her compassion for others was felt near and far. Marie, affectionately known to her family as Rere, had many passions in life. She was a creative soul who could sing as if she was an angel on Earth, which she truly was. She loved her music, her knickknacks, a good yard sale, decorating, and had a past history of stenciling every wall or cabinet she possibly could. She was an amazing poet and a free spirit. She loved a nice cup of tea or a scallop plate from the Clam Box. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as seeing her family, caring for her grandchildren, the warmth of the sun and nature. She loved making her famous baked mac and cheese. She loved relaxing in the backyard watching her grandchildren enjoy the summer fun.
Marie’s heart was most content while at the beach. Every summer any free time she had was often spent at Nantasket Beach with her chair snuggled firmly into the sand at the water’s edge. She would sit for hours listening to the beauty of the crashing waves while indulging in the summer’s warm sun.
Marie is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Her selfless character, strength and hard work was admired by all. We know her spirit is at peace with Jesus as she so often spoke of. She was a firm believer of entering Heaven’s gates after her time on this Earth was done. We know her legacy of love, compassion and joy will be carried on by her children, grandchildren and all those whose lives she touched.
