Ruth A. (Moore) Craig, of Quincy, died peacefully on June 15, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Roslindale, she lived in Quincy for the past 58 years. Like so many in her generation, her values were formed at an early age. As a young girl, she saw five of her older brothers leave home to serve in the Armed Forces during World War II, and felt very fortunate to have them all safely return home.

This appreciation of family was always present when raising her own family. She made each and every one of her own children and grandchildren feel special. She will be truly missed by all of them.

Craig, Jr. of Kingston and Patricia Craig, Scott Craig, Sandra Craig and Andrew Craig, all of Quincy. Also survived by her loving grandchildren: Joseph, James, Natalie, Alison, Emily and Colleen.
