Brenda Lee (Anderson) White

Brenda Lee (Anderson) White, 58, of Tewksbury passed away August 18, 2019 with her husband, son and daughter by her side. She died suddenly from cancer showing little symptoms till the end.

Brenda met Michael White in 1981 in Dedham and were married in 1982.  Their children Daniel and Jennilee rounded out their beautiful family.  Brenda always put her children and family first. She gave more of herself than anyone I know.

Loving wife of Michael White. Beloved mother of Daniel White of Salem and Jennilee White of Tewksbury. Devoted grandmother of Nicholas Fanitini, Daniel and Lily White and sister of Mike Anderson and Alice Lynn Anderson. Daughter of the late Barbara Kilday.

Funeral Services were private.

Jerome J. Ware

Jerome J. Ware of South Boston, died on August 16, 2019.

Beloved son of Terry Carney (Ware) of Boston. Loving father of Dominique Andrade and her husband Emmanuel of Mattapan, Brandi-Ann Henry and her husband Winston of California, Jason Andrade, Megan Wallace-Andrade and Ivan Wallace-Andrade all of Randolph. Cherished grandfather of Ciara Rose Andrade and Tawaynea Henry. 

Jerome was born in Anniston Alabama. He was a dedicated Security Officer at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for many years. He was a man who welcomed everyone with open arms and felt blessed by their company. He had a passion for music and was an avid sports fan. He also enjoyed cookouts with family and friends, classic movies and above all his family.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. Jerome was a proud United States Army Veteran.

Visitation will be Friday August 23, 2019 9:00am- 11:00am in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.

Linda (Clifford) Boyle

Linda Boyle (Clifford) of Quincy,  formerly of Milton died August 16, 2019 in her home in Quincy at the age of 69.

Linda was born in Boston, Daughter of the late Elizabeth (Farren) and Donald Clifford. Linda had lived in Quincy the past two years spending the previous 30 plus years in Milton.  Linda graduated from the University of Massachusetts where she majored in English and was the court administrator for the Stoughton District Court, retiring three years ago.  Mrs.  Boyle enjoyed traveling, tending to her gardens but most importantly her family.

Beloved wife of Lawrence F. Boyle of Quincy. Mother of Timothy C. Boyle and his wife Laura of Quincy, Christopher F. Boyle and his wife Janeen of Woburn and Elizabeth F. Wiseman and her husband Michael of Milton.  Grandmother of Liam Boyle and Emma and Tommy Wiseman. Sister of Donna Lordon of NJ, Beth Hickox of Weymouth, Karen Gordon of Westboro, David Clifford of FL, Paul Clifford of Weymouth, Susan Clifford of Quincy and Stephen Clifford of FL. Linda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

David Francis “Dave” Connors

David Francis Connors (Dave), 75, of Dorchester passed away suddenly, at home, August 15, 2019.

Beloved husband of Frances (Mattos) Connors.  Loving father of Matthew Connors of Dorchester.  David is also survived by cousins and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Born and raised in Boston to the late John and Anne (McDonough) Connors.  He was predeceased by his 2 brothers John and Stephen. David was a longtime lobsterman and employee of the U. S. P. S. and he served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed model boat building, spending time on the water and tinkering with anything with moving parts. Dave was always good for a laugh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, Tuesday, August 20th at 10:00 AM.  Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Monday, August 19th from 5-8 PM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.

Philip P. Morris

Philip, P. Morris of Plymouth formerly of Braintree passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Joan Morris (Duggan). Loving father of Carole Sessine and her husband Michael of Pembroke and the late Johanna Brennan and Philip Morris. Brother of the late Anna, Paul and Robert Morris.  Cherished grandfather of Martin and Henry Brennan, Michael and Alexandra Sessine and Anna Morris. Father in law to Martin Brennan and Kelly Morris.  Phil is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Philip was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He entered the Army in 1945 and proudly served in WWII. He later met and married the love of his life Joan (Duggan) Morris and raised their family in Braintree. Phil worked for many years in the Auto sales industry. He enjoyed the company of good friends and family, Frank Sinatra music, and driving cars. Most of all Phil loved his family who were truly the most important aspect of his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 10:30am in St. Francis of Assisi, 856 Washington Street, Braintree.  Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hour will be prior to the Mass from 9:00am-10:00am in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE. Interment in Milton Cemetery, Milton. 

Ralph D. Springer Jr.

Ralph Duke Springer Jr., 67, of Dorchester, passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice, Milton, on Friday, August 9, 2019. He was surrounded by family and friends who visited him from near and far in his final days. He handled his illness with his characteristic strength, grace and humor and remained himself right up until the very end.  

Beloved husband of Carol (Meislin) Springer. Loving father of Anna Katherine and Ralph Ian Springer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, on Saturday, August 17 at 2pm. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Seasons Hospice Foundation, 8537 Solution Center, Chicago, IL 60677.

Edward David Roust


Edward David Roust, 74, of Dorchester passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

He was the son of Frank and Helen Roust. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lenehan Roust, his children: Timothy Edward and Carolyn Barbara Roust, her partner Aviel Ben-Avi, and grandchildren Brian David and Tashi Laelia Ben-Avi. He is predeceased by his son Brian Francis Roust. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Barbara and Russell Varteresian, and predeceased by his brother and sister in law Paul and Patricia Roust. Other survivors are his sister in laws Maureen McCafferty and Patricia Fitzpatrick, 14 beloved nieces and nephews, and the Fredrick Cruickshank cousins.

Edward started his career as a lineman for New England Telephone, which then became ATT, Lucent Technologies and finally Avaya communications, for whom he worked in Moscow as a Systems Analyst for 8 years. Through this job, he was able to fulfill his dreams of travelling the world. After he retired, he spent the last chapter of his life as an active grandfather to Brian and Tashi, which brought him great joy. He had boundless energy, a wonderful sense of humor, a love for chatting with people and a huge heart.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, on Sunday, August 18 at 12PM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited.

Ann Willcox Seidman

Ann Willcox Seidman, died on August 13, 2019. She was born April 30, 1926. 

Professor Seidman was the beloved wife of the late Professor Robert B. Seidman, mother of Jonathan Seidman of Milton, MA, Judy Seidman of Johannesburg, South Africa, Katha Seidman of Brookline, MA, Gay Seidman of Madison, WI, and Neva Seidman Makgetla of Johannesburg, South Africa. Ann was the beloved mother-in-law of 4, grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 4.

Ann was Professor of Economics and taught at Boston University, Clarke University, Brown University, Wellesley College, University of Wisconsin (Madison), and at the Universities of Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Beijing. She was a leading dependency theorist, authoring numerous books on African political economy. Ann and Robert Seidman pioneered the field of law and development and legislative drafting, around the world, from Bhutan to South Africa, and helped draft constitutions for many countries, including Namibia, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. They loved sailing in Maine with family, friends, and colleagues; playing with their grandchildren, debating politics; and playing recorders more or less in harmony. In the 1950s, with other family members and friends, they established one of the first inter-racial planned communities on the East Coast, at Village Creek in Norwalk, CT.

Family funeral services will be private. A public memorial will be held in a few months.

Karin Froom

Karin Froom of Milton, Aug. 11, beloved wife of Robert Cormack. Devoted mother of Kiersten Cormack of NJ, Monika Cormack of Boston and Lilja Cormack of Milton.

Funeral Service Saturday, August 17, at St Michael’s Episcopal Church, 112 Randolph Ave., Milton, at 11 o’clock.  Interment Private.

Robert MacDonald

Robert N. MacDonald, 83, of Milton died on Saturday, August 10, 2019 after an extended stay in a nursing home.

Son of the late Allan J. and M. Dorothy MacDonald. Survivors include his brother, Allan J. MacDonald of Hingham and Pawleys Island, SC and sister, Judith M. DeLoughrey of Wellesley, as well as six nieces.

Bob was a fine golfer and artist as a young man. A Memorial Mass will be held in the auditorium at Brush Hill Care Center, 1200 Brush Hill Road, Milton on Monday, August 12 at 10:00 am.
