Beloved son of Nina (Corso) White of the West End, Boston, and the late Martin White. Brother of Barbara Indelicato of Milton and Michael J. White of North Easton. Uncle of Joseph, Mark and James Indelicato.

Arthur V. Cote Sr.

age 79, of Chatham, formerly of Harwichport and Milton, at home February 19, 2009, surrounded by family.

Arthur and his wife Jane B. Cote raised their family in Milton and Harwichport. He was a New England Ford dealer, owner of Cote Motor Co. and Ford Power Products of Boston until 1976. Arthur was owner of Harwichport Boat Works and Cote Yacht Sales of Harwichport until 2004.

Survived by his children Susan C. and her husband Richard Romanski of North Salem, NY, Arthur and his wife Debra A. Cote Jr. of Marshfield, Geoffrey B. Cote of Westwood, Thomas P. and his wife Fotene D. Cote of Boston, his sister Michelle Cote of Key West, FL and his niece Amy Cote of High Falls, NY. Arthur is predeceased by his wife Jane B. Cote, son Henry R. Cote, daughter-in-law Barbara J. Cote, brothers Ralph Cote and Stephen Cote. He is survived by 12 grandchildren, beloved family friend Constance Ellis of Harwichport, many dear friends and his beloved poodle Pepe.

Arthur had passionate interests in cars, boats, fishing and his many friends.

Memorial service in Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church, 112 Randolph Avenue, Milton, Tuesday March 3 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited.

Doris V. (Crahan) Steinkrauss

formerly of Quincy, February 18, 2009, Beloved wife of the late Walter G. Steinkrauss. Loving mother of Walter G. Steinkrauss, Jr and his wife Deborah Slocum of Marshfield. Cherished grandmother of Caroline and Emma Steinkrauss of Marshfield. Sister of the late Eileen Milford, Anna DiGiacomo, Vera Kearns and Mary Kennedy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint John the Baptist Church, School St. Quincy, Saturday February 21 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Saturday morning 9:00 to 10:45.

Doris was born in Boston, and a resident of Quincy for over 40 years. She was a member of St Mary’s Parish and St. Joseph Parish for several years and a resident of the O’Connell Senior Citizens Residence on School St. Quincy.

Willian C. Gean

a retired tool maker, died Sunday February 15 at Caritas Carney Hospital. He was 97 years old.

Born and raised in Ipswich, one of fourteen children, he moved to Boston early in life to work as a cobbler. He then went to work as a tool maker for Mason Neilon Regulator in Dorchester Lower Mills and later when they moved to Norwood.

Mr. Gean enjoyed fishing, golfing, travelling and was a sports enthusiast.

Affectionately known as “Grampy”, Bill gave of his time, money and heart to all who knew him, but especially to his four grandsons following the deaths of their own fathers. He was a constant presence in their lives. His charm, wit and the ever present, mischievous twinkle in his eyes will be sorely missed.

Beloved husband of the late Anna M. (Shea). Dear father of Margaret (Peg) Ryan of Plymouth and the late William (Billy) Gean. Devoted grandfather of James D. Ryan of Hollywood, FL, Michael W. Ryan of Sandwich, Shaun W. Gean of Quincy and Christian S. Gean of Hingham. Dear father-in-law of Anne Marie Gean of Hingham. Loving great-grandfather of John M. Ryan and Colleen E. Ryan of Sandwich. Brother of Irene Geanakakis, George Geanakakis, Jim Geanakakis and Connie Gean.

Estella R. (Beal) Morrison

of Dorchester, formerly of Roxbury, February 15, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Hugh J. Morrison. Loving mother of Linda Stewart, Jo-Marie Duffy, and Nancy Morrison, all of Dorchester and Rita Brown of Mattapan. Sister of John Beal and the late Seward Beal, Wesley Beal, Vernon Beal and Jenny MacLellan. Also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Robert D. Tyrrell

former Pastor of St. Julia Parish in Weston, died at his home in Braintree, Sunday February 15, 2009. He was 74 years old.

Born in Boston, he was a member of the 1st graduation class from Saint Agatha School. He was a graduate of Boston College High School in 1953, and Holy Cross College in 1957.

He entered the US Navy, served for 6 years and was discharged a Lieutenant. He entered the Seminary in 1964 and was ordained in 1967. Fr. Tyrrell joined the US Naval Reserve as a Chaplain and served for 20 years, retiring as a Captain.

Fr. Tyrrell served the Archdiocese of Boston at St Joseph Church, Quincy; St. Bridget Church, Framingham; Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro; Cathedral High School, Boston; Archbishop Williams High School, Braintree; St. Peter’s Church, Norwood and served as Pastor at St Julia Church in Weston, from which he retired in 2003.

Fr Tyrrell was a member of Wollaston Golf Club for several years.

Beloved son of the late Thomas and Mary (Byrne) Tyrrell. Loving brother of Patricia Lindqvist of CA., Dorothea Silk of Norwood, William Tyrrell of CT, Dr Eugene Tyrrell of Braintree, and the late Mary Kearns, Kathleen Johnson, Collete Connor, Thomas Tyrrell, James Tyrrell, John Tyrrell, Paul Tyrrell, Leo Tyrrell, and Walter Tyrrell. Fr. Tyrrell is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton Wednesday February 18 at 11:00 AM. Fr. Tyrrell will Lie-in-State at St. Agatha Church Tuesday 3-7 PM, beginning with a Prayer Service at 3 PM and ending with a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.

Alice (Coyle) McDonald

died Wednesday February 11 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Norwood, MA. She was 76 years old.

Born in Michigan, she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Detroit, Michigan and Wellesley College, class of 1953. Mrs. McDonald was a resident of Canton, MA for many years.

Wife of Matthew McDonald. Mother of Matthew McDonald of Easton, Patrick McDonald of Canton, Kathleen McDonald of Peterboro, NH and Mark McDonald of Milton. Sister of Richard Coyle of Boston, Mary Kahn of CA and Kathleen Ryan of RI. Cherished grandmother of Teresa and Kate McDonald.

Mauricia "Denise" Luma

of Boston, February 9, suddenly beloved daughter of Garlene (Andre) Malivert and Jonas Luma. Loving Twin sister of Charlene Luma, sister of Sergina Cadet, Jachell, Joenell and Jayden Luma. Denise is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Denise was a lifelong resident of Boston. She was a graduate of the John D. O’Bryant High School class of 1999, Northeastern University class of 2004, and was enrolled as a graduate student at Northeastern before her recent illness.
Denise was employed as a Financial Aid Advisor at Universal Technical Institute. She was also a member of Young Black Womens Society.

Richard H. Meehan

a retired real estate broker, died Monday February 2. He was 81 years old.

Mr. Meehan was the longest member of Wollaston Golf Club (65 years). He joined as a junior member at the age of 17, is a past president and the course record holder, shooting a 61 in 1957.

Born August 29, 1927 in Savin Hill, Dorchester he moved to Quincy, where he resided until his death. Mr. Meehan served in Newfoundland during World War II, until his honorable discharge from the United States Coast Guard in 1946. Partners with his father in the wool business, J. P. Meehan Inc on Summer Street, Boston, after he graduated from Boston College in 1950, Dick switched careers to real estate in 1970. He sold houses to several family generations in the Milton area until retiring in 2007.

Married to “His Bride” of 56 years, Anne (Connolly) Meehan. Beloved father of Valerie Farretta and her husband Michael of Rochester, MA, Richard S. Meehan and his wife Nancy (Donovan) of Wakefield, RI and Jeff L. Meehan of Cohasset. Dick is survived by his beautiful granddaughters Katrina, Shannon and Natasha Meehan of Wakefield, RI.

Henry Daise

Ret. BFD, of Brockton, died after an illness at Brockton Hospital on February 1, 2009.

Born in Savannah, Georgia to Modell Duncan and Susie Mae Washington, Henry worked as a firefighter for the City of Boston.

Beloved husband of the late Gloria Bowen Daise. Father of Ajenee Daise and Khary Daise, both of Boston. Brother of Ernestine Meeks, Modell, Jr., Rose Marie, Melody and Eric Duncan, Susie, Robin and Donna Reed, Marcia Louissaint, Mary Johnson, Filene Cutter, Ervin Johnson and Roger Poole.

A Funeral Service will be held in Jubilee Christian Church on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 11:00AM. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service, 10-11AM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
