Gabriel Josh-Cazir Pierre

Gabriel “Gaby” Josh-Cazir Pierre, 17 months old,  beloved son of Virginie Cazir and Jean Patrick Pierre,  died on September 12, 2011. Brother of Marc Anthony, Patricia and Amanda. Also survived by his grandparents, godmothers, godfather and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mark Church, Dorchester on Saturday, September 24 at 10:00AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Marion T. Reynolds

Marion  T. Reynolds of  Milton, died on September  20, 2011. She was the beloved twin sister of Margaret M.  Reynolds, sister of Catherine Procter, Dorothy Cronin and Thomas Reynolds and his wife Grace. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church , Friday, September 23  at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. James E. Miller

James E. Miller, 87, of Englewood, FL, formerly of Milton, died on September 19, 2011. He was born on March 5, 1924 in Dorchester. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Miller worked for 44 years as a Construction Photographer for the MBTA.  He was a US Army Veteran of World War II (Battle of the Bulge) and Korea.

Locally, he was a Past Commander of the VFW Boston Carmens Post, #3403, a Life Member of the Dorchester Yacht Club, and a Past Commander of the American Legion Post in Jamaica Plain.

Beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” Miller. Brother of Joseph Miller of Pembroke and Pauline Pheeney of Maryland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton on Saturday, September 24 at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Sally Berry

Sally (Lima) Berry died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Monday September 12, 2011. Sally was born to the late Anthony Lima and Elvira Montrond in Boston, Massachusetts.  She was a life-long resident of Boston’s South End and attended the Abraham Lincoln School, now known as Boston High School. Sally was a single parent and raised a family of three children.  Later on in life when her children were grown, she went to work for City Missionary where she provided homecare services for the elderly.  There was never a day that went by that you would not see her walking down the street with grocery bags in hand. Sally missed taking care of her children and loved children so much that at one point in her life she became a Girl Scout leader.  The children loved her and Sally treated these children as if they were her own.  She would spend personal time with them, taking them downtown shopping or to visit her Mother. Sally has gone on to join her son Mark Lima, and her brothers Lou and Joseph Lima.  She leaves behind, to cherish her memories one daughter Sandra Berry, one son Richard Berry and her loving siblings; Anthony Lima, Dolores Lima, Barbara Barrows and Theresa Lima.  Sally will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Cathedral of the Holy Cross, 1400 Washington Street, Boston, Monday September 19 at 10:00 AM. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM at the church. Interment follows at Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

William J. White

William J. White, age 73, of Cohasset, September 12, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (Bryan) White of 51 years: 4 children Mary Ann O’Toole of Dudley MA, Susan White-Stigliano of Milton, Marilyn White of Marshfield and Patricia Cifrino of Cohasset, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Bill worked for Pan American Airlines for 20 years, then the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked his way up to Deputy Director of Flight Standards in the United States.  He enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a gracious encourager who had a gift for bringing out the best in others.  He was a very talented handy-man and will be greatly missed.  “He came, he saw, he fixed it.” A private service in his honor will be held this week at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.  A Memorial Mass is planned for September 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, 129 South Main Street, Cohasset. Carol Crowley Sheridan

Carol Crowley Sheridan, of Milton , died at Milton Hospital on Sept. 13, 2011. She was the wife of William R. Sheridan. Daughter of the late Cornelius A. Crowley and M. Gertrude Maguire Crowley. Carol graduated from Jeanne dArc Academy and Marymount College, Member of Ace of Clubs, Hatherly Country Club, Quincy Neighborhood Club, Wollaston Golf Club. Carol worked as an educator in the Milton Public School System for 39 years. Survived by her niece Kathleen Rudduck and her husband Richard; nephews; Neal F. Crowley and his wife Karen, Christopher A. Crowley, Peter J. Crowley and his wife Kathleen, Robert J. Crowley Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Brian E. Crowley and his wife Cecille. Carol was predeceased by her sister Jeanne Crowley Cunningham and her brothers, Neal Crowley and Robert Crowley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Milton, Saturday, September 17 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Annie Mae (Whitley) McGee

Annie Mae(Whitley) McGee, of South Boston, died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Monday September 5, 2011. She was 85 years old. Born and raised in Chinquapin, North Carolina, she has lived in Boston for many years. Patricia C. (McDonough) Barry

Patricia C. (McDonough) Barry, of Marshfield, formerly of Milton and Dorchester, died on September 13, 2011. Born and raised in the Dorchester section of Boston, Mrs. Barry was a graduated of Jeremiah Burke High School. She centered her life around her husband, their eleven children and her extended family. She was a member of Saint Mary of the Hills Catholic Church Guild. Beloved wife of Thomas F. Barry. Frederick A. Voutselas

Frederick A. Voutselas, a proud Army veteran, died at Milton Hospital Thursday September 8, 2011. He was 80 years old. Born in Boston, he was a resident of Milton and Humarock and formerly of Roxbury. Mr. Voutselas was a former plant manager for Standard Linen Services in Roxbury, retired realtor and former member of the Holbrook Sportsman’s Club. Beloved husband of Katherine H. (Murray) Voutselas. Father of Richard and his wife Amy Voutselas of South Yarmouth, Katherine “Tori” and her husband Brian Koch of Norwell, John B. and his wife Angela Voutselas of Plymouth. Brother of George Voutselas and the late Elizabeth Dahlroos and Angelo Angelopoulos. Loving grandfather of Alexandra, Nicolas, Patrick, Justin, Taya, Sean, Caroline, Jack, Brendan, Audrey and Ava.
