Our hearts ached when we were told about Bill. He was such a really nice guy. So kind and caring, making all he spoke to feel special. We knew if he was out and about when we came up the road to visit the Goodwins he would meet us halfway to chat. He will be missed. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Brad and Dee
Papa was a great man, he had such great stories that he told us when we were growing up. He was a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather to my son Owen. I’m so glad my son got to spend time with him during his first year, I would have liked him to have more time with Owen but sometimes we don’t always get to choose.
He will be missed greatly.

To Bill’s Family:
On hearing of Bill’s passing , my mind flashes back to when I first met Bill. It was in Pan Am( Hanger 16) we were mechanics on DC-7s in the 1960s. He was the best mechanic I ever worked with, and always had a quick and easy smile who was there to give you a hand. He helped me get into the FAA in Portland,Me. Its really a sad day for Me.
HE WAS THE BEST MAN IN THE WORLD !!!!
