Foley of Quincy and Joseph F. Foley and his wife Laura of Weymouth. Grandfather of Joseph J. Usevich and Nathan B. Foley. Brother of Rev. Thomas C. Foley of Regina Cleri Residence, Boston, Barbara Pickering and her husband Charles of Braintree, William Foley and his wife Natalie of Milton, Bernard Foley and his wife Anne of Delaware, Richard Foley and his wife Marie of Canton and the late John P. Foley and James Foley. Brother-in-law of Patricia Foley and Barbara Foley. Frank is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Wednesday February 25 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Tuesday 3-7 PM. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Frank was a graduate of Boston College as a Francis Ouimet Golf Scholarship winner, a US Navy veteran, former owner of Foley Chrysler Plymouth of North Quincy and honorary member of Wollaston Golf Club, Milton.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Hickman

Elizabeth “Betsy”  Hickman,  59, passed away peacefully at MGH on February 16, 2015 after a long illness, surrounded by her family.  Elizabeth was the cherished youngest daughter of the late George and Rosalie (Boyd) Hickman.  She was the beloved sister of Jeanne Hartley and her husband William of Sandwich and Rosemary Stevens and her husband George of Braintree.  She is also survived by her aunt, Margaret Chartier, her niece, Shelia Hartley, her nephew Kevin Hartley and her grand nephew, Caiden Hartley along with many cousins and grand cousins.  Elizabeth was a 1973  graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in Boston.  Elizabeth worked for many years in a wide variety of industries, among them were retail, insurance and manufacturing.   Elizabeth loved to go camping, she travelled extensively and was an avid Boston sports fan.  She also enjoyed  listening to the Oldies and was always the “class clown”, bringing a laugh wherever she went.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be missed.  Elizabeth was a longtime resident of Stonehedge Rehab where she was the president of the Patient Council.  She was loved and respected by staff and patients.  Donations in her memory can be sent to:  Stonehedge Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, 5 Redlands Rd., West Roxbury, MA 02132,  or Joslin Diabetes Center,  One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215,  ATTN:  Development Suite 745.   Services  will be held at a later date.

Headly George Davis (a.k.a. Uncle Busha), age 78 , of Boston Massachusetts formerly of Kingston Jamaica died on February 9the, 2015 after a long illness.  Born in Fellowship Hall, St Mary, Jamaica WI; son of the late Petrinella Walter (Aunt Lena) and the late Ernest Davis; he spent his formative years in Jamaica.

Headily graduated from Ramble All Age School in St Mary. Headily worked as a foreman and then the Head of Security  with Seprod Ltd. (Jamaica) for over sixteen years.   After he moved to the United States, he worked as a Project Supervisor for ARS Restoration for over 22 years.

He is survived by his wife Imogene, his children; Arlene Davis-Harvey (Jay), Jaclyn Davis-Ruffin (Jackie), Deon Davis, Viveen Davis (Suzzette), Kirk Wayne Davis, Eddie Davis, Debbie Davis, Marsha Davis, Karen Davis and Atanya Davis;  his sisters, Icilda Peart and Beatrice Nelson; Grandchildren :Latoya Tracey-Matthews, Tanesha Brown, Simone Davis,  Sandreen Dennis, Tiffany Hutchinson , Zahra Ruffin,  Zachary Ruffin, Janice Thelwell, Janiqua Thelwell and Melissa Davis Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Hebrew R. Johnson, 72, of Dorchester passed away on February 14, 2015.  A retired MBTA operator he was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth Johnson.  Devoted father of Joseph Bourne of Boston, Nancy Bourne of Florida, James Bourne of Boston and Stephen Johnson of Boston.  Brother of George Johnson of Florida, Cornella Cole of Georgia, Jack Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Herbert Johnson and Hubert Johnson all of Boston.  Grandfather of Tawana Bourne, James Bourne, Felisha  Bourne and Stephen Spencer also all of Boston.  A funeral service will be held at the Charles Street A.M.E. Church, 551 Warren Street, Boston on Tuesday, February 24th at 11 AM.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.  A visiting hour will begin prior to the service at 10 AM in the church.  Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.

Josephine A Joseph

 

Josephine A. Joseph, 66, of Leominster passed away on February 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.  Devoted wife of Joseph Antonysamy. Loving mother of Dr.  Bernard Joseph and his wife Iris of Milton, Alfred Joseph and his wife Nathaly Montero of Boston  and Arcadius Joseph  of Boston.  Sister-in-law to Regina Arokiaraj and her husband Arokiaraj of Burlington, Lilly Sebastian and her husband Felix of New Jersey and Vasantha William and her husband William A. Sandhu of Burlington. Josephine is also survived by her family in India and many nieces and nephews here in the states.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton on Saturday at 10:30 AM.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.  Visiting hours will be held in the Dolan-Chapman Funeral Home, 5 Canton Avenue, MILTON VILLAGE on Friday night from 5-9 PM.  Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.

 

 

 

Maryte Krisiukenas

Maryte Krisiukenas of Milton, passed on to her heavenly reward on Feb 13 following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Alfredas Kriskiukenas; devoted mother of Lora I. Knight and her husband, Dr. John Knight of Milton, Renata L. Alonge and her husband Robert of PA and Andrew Krisiukenas of Milton; grandmother of Jonathan Knight and his wife Wendy of Quincy, Bethany Knight of Milton, Alicia Rutkauskas and her husband Steven of Weymouth and Jesse Alonge of Canaan, CT; and great grandmother of Lilly Rutkauskas of Weymouth  Maryte was born in a small village in Lithuania in 1924. When she was a teenager, opposing armies advanced through Lithuania during World War II. Maryte fled with her aunt and cousin through Poland and Germany. Eventually she met her husband at a refugee camp near Frankfurt, Germany and they married three years later. Maryte’s  grandmother  had  given her a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, which they melted down to make their wedding bands. Alfredas began medical school in Germany, but completed it after they emigrated to Boston in the late 1940’s. After a stint in Utah in the U.S. Army, they moved back to the Boston area. They lived in Milton for 49 years. Maryte was a devoted, lifelong member of Glad Tidings Church in Quincy.

Beloved husband of Elaine L. (Donoghue) DeCarlo. Loving father of Thomas and his wife Karlie DeCarlo of Mendon and Michelle DeCarlo of Hopedale. Grandfather of Dominic and James DeCarlo and Jessica and Marissa Perkins. “Grampy Carlo” of William Fisher. Brother of Jean Mooney of North Weymouth, Vincent Walsh of Weymouth, Kenneth Walsh and John “Jackie” Walsh, both of Hull and Lynda DeCarlo of Milford. Uncle and Godfather of Krista DeCarlo of Milford. Son  of the Jean L. Ward and Thomas A. DeCarlo Sr. Tom is survived by his step-father Thomas P. and his wife Yolanda Ward of Sun City, AZ and several loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Tom was a retired MBTA motorman for 16 years and retired employee Hendries Cold Storage, Milton for over 20 years.

Sonia “Manmisoune” Petit Faustin, 81, fell asleep in death at 9:56 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2015, from a heart attack at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sonia was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1933 in South St. Louis, Haiti. A devoted mother who loved her family, being an only child, she yearned for a large family. Her family’s spiritual protector, she is survived by 6 children with 2 spouses, 11 grandchildren with 2 spouses, 2 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives. Before immigrating to Boston, she was an Archivist for the Department of Interior for the State Department of Haiti. In America, she worked as nursing assistant and a teacher’s aide. She was an involved mother who loved her large family.

Manmisoune was a passionate woman who loved life, her love for people was unconditional, demonstrated by her need to share the good news of God’s kingdom with everyone she met. Realizing a life-long goal, she embraced the pioneer service in the latter years of her life. She attended pioneer school in 2007. Zealous, spiritual and loving, her impact was far reaching, assisting many in learning the truth. Her presence will be greatly missed in the lives of the countless family and friends she aided with her soothing words and practical advice.

Funeral Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 230 Wood Ave., Hyde Park, MA on Saturday February 14 at 10:30 AM.  Relatives and friends invited. Barbara Ann Willis

On February 7, 2015, God’s angels descended upon the earth and escorted Barbara Ann Willis, affectionately known as “Duffy”, through Heaven’s gates.  Barbara was born on October 24, 1943 to the late Clarence and Maizie Hill.  She was raised in Boston, MA and educated in the Boston Public School System, where she graduated with honors from Girls High.  After matriculating from Girls High, she pursued a career in secretarial work at Radio Shack.

It was here where she met the love of her life, Albert Willis. After a short courtship, the two married in 1964 and from this union had four children: Albert, Kenneth, Karen and Anissa. Barbara’s first passion was her family.  She took pride in being a wife, mother and homemaker.  Once her children were of school age, Barbara returned to work as secretary at the Holland Elementary School, where she remained for over 20 years until she retired in 2002.

Barbara loved baking, bird watching, knitting, and visiting with her siblings. She also enjoyed music and dancing and taking part in the many family outings including fishing with her husband, cookouts, and camping adventures. Barbara’s favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas, where she enjoyed baking her famous sugar cookies, cheesecake tarts, Jello cake, and blueberry buckle.

Barbara’s greatest attributes were her love and willingness to help everyone regardless of their personal circumstances or standing in life.  She saw the good in everyone.  Barbara leaves a legacy of love and compassion.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Albert Willis of Randolph, MA, sons: Albert Willis of Randolph MA, Kenneth Willis and spouse Tamethea of Stoughton, MA; daughters: Karen Clay and spouse Darrell of Swampscott, MA, Anissa McKissick and spouse Gerald of Quincy, MA; grandchildren: Kenneth Willis Jr. and Kayla Willis, Horace and Andrew Hamilton, Darrell Clay, Jr., and great grandson, Kaidyn Willis. She also leaves behind: brothers Clarence and Robert Hill, sisters Anita Gatewood, Deborah McAuliffe, Theresa Hill, Nancy Hill, Donna Hill-Harris, their spouses and a host of nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 4-8PM Monday, February 16 at The Dolan Funeral Home 1140 Washington St., Lower Mills.  The funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 17 at 11AM at The Concord Baptist Church, 180 Blue Hill Ave., Milton.

Paul I. Kelley

Paul I. Kelley of Milton, on Thursday, Feburary 5, 2015.  Loving husband of the late Elaine (Dunford) Kelley.  Father of  Paula Anderson and her husband Carl of Milford, Ted Kelley and his wife Susan of Wellesley,  Harriet Reichert and her husband Jeff of Milford.  Grandfather of Jack Paul,  Alexandra , Ryan, Kelley and Abbey.  Also survived by  close friend RoseMarie Salah of Dedham and several nieces and nephews.  Brother of James, Richard, Joseph and Ruthie and the late Annemarie Ready and Sr. Paula Kelley.  Son of the late Cyril and Anne (Coffey) Kelley.  Mr. Kelley was very active with the Milton  Council on Aging serving  on the board of directors and volunteering for over 20 years.  He was also active with the German Shepherd  Rescue League.  Retired investigator for Boston Edison.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Reedsdale Road, Milton on Monday, February 9 at 10:00 AM.  Relatives and friends invited to attend.  Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON,  Sunday 2-5 PM.  Interment Milton Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Friends of Council on Aging, 10 Walnut St. Milton, MA 02186.
