Thomas A. DeCarlo Jr., of Hopedale, formerly of Braintree and Dorchester, at Massachusetts General Hospital, February 12, 2015.
Beloved husband of Elaine L. (Donoghue) DeCarlo. Loving father of Thomas and his wife Karlie DeCarlo of Mendon and Michelle DeCarlo of Hopedale. Grandfather of Dominic and James DeCarlo and Jessica and Marissa Perkins. “Grampy Carlo” of William Fisher. Brother of Jean Mooney of North Weymouth, Vincent Walsh of Weymouth, Kenneth Walsh and John “Jackie” Walsh, both of Hull and Lynda DeCarlo of Milford. Uncle and Godfather of Krista DeCarlo of Milford. Son of the Jean L. Ward and Thomas A. DeCarlo Sr. Tom is survived by his step-father Thomas P. and his wife Yolanda Ward of Sun City, AZ and several loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Tuesday February 17 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Monday 3-7 PM.
Tom was a retired MBTA motorman for 16 years and retired employee Hendries Cold Storage, Milton for over 20 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Hopedale Fire Dept., 40 Dutcher St, Hopedale, MA 01747.

Skip and I are so sorry to hear about Tom we are in Florida and will not be able to attend his service. Tom was a great guy and we had a lot of good memory’s our prayers are with you all.

We were so saddened by Tommy’s passing. He was a true fighter and remarkable person. We were unfortunately unable to attend the services due to being in Florida and storms but our thoughts and prayers were there a thousand fold.
I just found out about Tom. I send my prayers and thoughts to you and your family. He was a good guy and he will be sorely missed by all.
