Loving and cherished son of Fedy and Flavie (Frederic) Caddeus of Randolph. Brother of Winifred Caddeus, Peguy Caddeus and Najib Pierre-Paul. Jean Williams Azor, a former cab driver, died at his home in Mattapan Wednesday May 18, 2011. He was 68 years old.

Judith A. (Kelly) Nasser, died in Cairo, Egypt, Tuesday May 17, 2011. She was 61 years old. Beloved wife of Adel Nasser. Loving mother of Chris Lang, Andy Oringer, Robin Oringer Ferguson, Dana Nasser and Daniel Nasser. Graveside service Thursday May 26 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Elaine J. (Bates) Desmond

Elaine J. (Bates) Desmond, a retired executive secretary, died at Wingate at Silver Lake, Monday May 23, 2011. She was 78 years old. Born and raised in Boston, she was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Mrs. Desmond was an executive secretary for A & P Supermarkets and retired from Scudder Funds after over 20 years of employment. She and her husband, the late Dr. Joseph F. Desmond, a retired teacher at Boston Latin School, lived in Braintree for over 20 years. Mrs. Desmond enjoyed travelling, painting and reading. Sister of the late Patricia J. Dealy and Joseph Bates. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bates. Aunt of Cheryl and her husband John Frohock of Whitman and Richard and his wife Joanne Dealy of Pembroke. Great-aunt of Meghan Dealy, Catherine Dealy, Lauren Dealy, Christine Koch, Marianne Monbleau and Maureen McCarthy. Kevin C. Tierney, age 51, of Boston, formerly of Milton, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Son of Marjorie A. Tierney of Duxbury and the late John J. Tierney and his wife Joy of Kingston, Jacqueline Nolan and her husband Jeff of Hingham and Elaine Johnson and her husband Glenn of Hingham and deeply appreciative friend to his generous and kind workplace colleagues at the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds. Elizabeth E. (Toner) Lofgren

Elizabeth E. (Toner) Lofgren, died under the loving care of family and Allcare Hospice, Monday May 23, 2011. She was 100 years old. Born in Boston, she was raised in Charlestown and Dorchester and was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls. Mrs. Lofgren raised her children in Jamaica Plain and was a summer resident of South Wellfleet. She moved to South Wellfleet permanently shortly after her husband retired. Mrs. Lofgren enjoyed cooking, gardening, singing and playing the piano. Beloved wife of the late Harold Lofgren. Loving mother of Elizabeth LeCount of Holbrook, Sr. Mary Joan Lofgren CSJ of Milton, Geraldine Noonan of Rockland, Peter Lofgren of FL, Alfred Lofgren of Brockton, John Lofgren of Lynn, Kathleen Cameron of Quincy, Thomas Lofgren of Bridgewater, Gerard Lofgren of Holbrook, Nancy McDonald of Whitman, Mary T. Mariano of Bridgewater and the late Robert Lofgren.  Elizabeth is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brother Thomas McGowan, OFM

Brother Thomas McGowan, OFM, 78, of Saint Anthony’s Shrine, Arch St., Boston, died after an illness at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on May 21, 2011. He was the beloved son of the late Frederick and Grace (Sullivan) McGowan. Born in Lawrence, MA as John Edward McGowan, Brother Thomas was a member of the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province for 55 years. He entered the order on January 24, 1956 and initially served in New York before being transferred to Boston in 1972. Brother Thomas is survived by his siblings: Grace Donovan of Salem, NH and Fred McGowan and his wife Mary of Lawrence, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at Saint Anthony’s Shrine, 100 Arch St., first floor chapel on Tuesday, May 24, 4-7PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the second floor chapel on Wednesday at 11:00AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Mary Catherine Maloney, formerly of Dorchester and Taunton, May 17, 2011. Beloved and special daughter of the late Louis T. and Helen E. (O’Connor) Maloney. Sister of Joseph L. Maloney of Weymouth, Francis X. Maloney of Quincy, William F. Maloney of Dennisport, Richard J. Maloney of North Easton, Helen I. Durant of Hyde Park, Claire A. Koch of Wakefield and the late George P. Amy Lee Oldfield

Amy Lee Oldfield passed away peacefully in the presence of her devoted family and friends at Milton Hospital on Sunday May 15, 2011. Amy was the beloved daughter of Margaret O’Connor Oldfield and the late Robert C. Oldfield. She was the special sister to F. Joshua Oldfield and his wife Stephanie, Maggie Laing and her husband Phil, Hanna Ricciardi and her husband Ricky and Bobbi Wegner and her husband Mark. She was the doting aunt to Frankie Oldfield, Chandler & George Laing, Rob, Emory, Josh and Reese Amy Ricciardi and Cameron and Tyler Wegner. Amy loved life especially traveling the country with her family in their camper. She was an avid swimmer, bowler and patron of the arts. Amy especially loved making people happy and laughing with her nieces and nephews. Amy will be greatly missed by all.
