Dear Marjorie and Family
Was saddened to hear of Kevin’s death! Last week we were at Dolan’s in Dorchester for George’s sister–Mary’s wake and Funeral.
I told Judy when she called with the news—that I had just gone through a scrapbook and found a great photo of she and her brother dancing in our back yard in 1992—-but there were also MANY pages of all the Tierney weddings—starting in Waltham with Judy and John’s which was also my introduction to your beautiful family. Kevin always looked great ,smiling and enjoying each occasion. I know you will all miss him greatly. I wish I could express my feelings to you all in person—but I leave for a week in Seattle -early tomorrow morning! My prayers and thoughts are with all of you this week—–and I will drop into Duxbury upon my return. LOVE FaithE

Kevin has gone away his journey’s just begun, just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.Kevin will live on in the hearts of those he touched, remember nothing loved is ever lost and kevin was loved so much.
Dear Marge and Family:
When I think of Kevin I think of laughter and love. When I first had the opportunity back in the summer of ’76 to spend extended time with Kevin and all of you I remember that summer as a time when I was surrounded by a loving laughing family. At that point I was at a pretty deep emotional abyss and you all helped pull me out. Since then and in all my contacts with Kevin his sense of humor and ability to make others laugh with him has been ever present. He had that gift. Kevin always made an impression on people. He was bigger than life in a good way. He will be missed. But he has gone home. I’ve always thought that life is proof that God has an enormous since of humor. I have no doubt that God will keep Kevin’s spirit close at hand for the rest of eternity in order to enjoy the gift of humor that God gave him. God Bless.
The family of the late Dan O’Brien sends its thoughts and condolences to Kevin’s mother and siblings . We will keep you in our prayers during this difficult time.
The Tierney Family,
I would like to extend my condolences to all of you. My late brother Dan, was a co-worker at the Registry of Deeds and a good friend to Kevin for many years. I am sure God is watching over them both, and they in turn are watching over us.
My kindest regards to each of you.
