Carole Ruth (Hubbard) Martindale

Carole Ruth (Hubbard) Martindale, of Holbrook, a retired Accounting Manager at Johnson and Johnson, died at her home after an illness on January 28, 2012.  She was the beloved mother of Deborah Martindale and John Martindale, both of Holbrook and Andrea McWade of Derry, NH. Also survived by her grandson, Jacob Martindale Hammond. Sister of Frank of Quincy, Steve of Norwood, John Timothy of Boston, Nancy of Rockland, the late Mark and Susan Knight and the late Robert and Cornelius, who both died while in service to their country during WWII. Visiting hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. MILTON on Wednesday, 4-8PM with a service to follow on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 10:00AM. Interment private. Severine A. (Fange) Greenleaf, age 95, in Quincy January 25, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Greenleaf. Loving mother of Teresa A. Greenleaf of Quincy. Ann M. (Coneys) Holland

Ann M. (Coneys) Holland, died at Beth Israel Hospital Milton, after a short illness, Tuesday January 24, 2012. Ann was born and raised in Dorchester and attended Boston schools. Ann moved to Milton 46 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Solidality of St Agatha Parish and also a long time bingo volunteer. Ann is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years John. Mother of Robert  Holland of Milton, Eileen Holland-Green of Pembroke, Susan Hoey of Milton and John Holland of Westwood. Ann was the sister of the late Mary McAuliffe. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Saturday January 28 at 9:00 AM. Cecelia Barros Andrade, of Dorchester, died at Boston Medical Center, Tuesday January 24, 2012. She was 94 years old. Wife of the late Manuel Andrade. Loving mother of Vital Andrade and Angelina DeAndrade. She is survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Isabelle Barros, Rafael Barros, Ana Pina Barros, Tome Barros, Nicoalu Barros, Benvinda Nunes, Ana Silva and the late Felismina Barros, Joao Barros and Valeriao Barros. Reverend Anthony L. Smith, of Dorchester, formerly of Missouri, January 24, 2012. Beloved husband of J. Michael Farley for 18 years. Father of Alison Smith of Leavenworth, Kansas and Timothy Smith of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Son of Dorothy (Opstedal) and William Smith. Peter J. DeRosa

Peter J. De Rosa died Friday January 20, 2012, after a short illness. He was 87 years old. Peter was born and raised in Roxbury. At 17 years of age, Peter enlisted in the US Army during WWII. Upon discharge from the Army, he worked in the insurance industry. After a few years Peter was employed with the City of Boston in the Boston Redevelopment Authority for 30 years. Peter also was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Boston Credit Union for 40 years. Beloved husband of Denise (Mondano) DeRosa. Loving father of Audrey Mackin of Quincy, Peter J. DeRosa  Jr. of  Dorchester and  Evangeline Saccoach of Quincy. Brother of the late Vincenzo DeRosa, Thomas DeRosa, Ralph DeRosa, Anthony DeRosa, Romo DeRosa, Joseph DeRosa, Paul DeRosa, Dom DeRosa and Frank DeRosa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
