Cecelia Barros Andrade
Cecelia Barros Andrade, of Dorchester, died at Boston Medical Center, Tuesday January 24, 2012. She was 94 years old. Wife of the late Manuel Andrade. Loving mother of Vital Andrade and Angelina DeAndrade. She is survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Isabelle Barros, Rafael Barros, Ana Pina Barros, Tome Barros, Nicoalu Barros, Benvinda Nunes, Ana Silva and the late Felismina Barros, Joao Barros and Valeriao Barros. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dudley Street at Blue Hill Avenue, Roxbury, Saturday January 28 at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Friday 5-9 PM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.

Actually, she was born on April 2, 1916. On behalf of the Barros Andrade Family, I would like to deeply thank the Dolan Funeral Home, especially Bill O’Brien for helping and guiding my family through this difficult and sad moment of life. We know our Grandma is in Heaven and is smiling with appreciation of the love, support and respect given to her. Everything about the service was remarkable and extraordinary, which made my family very proud and comfortable in selecting Dolan for her last farewell. She parted from us unexpectedly, peacefully, painless, but left a big void in our hearts. She is gone from this world but will live on forever through our heart, thoughts and prayers.
