Tony may you rest in peace…you are loved by all and will be missed by many.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Smith. He was a wonderful and a gentle spirit that I have enjoyed working with over the years. Though he could have complained about a lot, he always chose to look at the positives.
Rest in Peace.
Respectfully
Dear Alison, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was a wonderful, kind, and caring person. I wish I could have seen him more in the past few years. He was very comforting to me when my father passed away. May God comfort you to know he is in Heaven and at peace. Blessings to you and all of your family.
My deepest sympathy to Pastors family and friends. I knew Tony when he was at Zion Lutheran in Garrett IN. I remember laughter and kindness from him.

Dear Tim and Alison and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Growing up with him as my Pastor he taught me so much and I credit him for the great faith I have today. While I lost touch with you all for some time after you left Garrett, IN.
I was finally able to find your dad again a few years ago and even though he was sick himself he always brought comfort to me when I needed it! He was a wonderful man that will be greatly missed here on earth, but heaven has now welcomed him there and what an amazing thing that must be for him! He will always be “Pastor” Smith to me. Pastor may you find comfort with our Lord. I look forward to being reunited with you again someday in God’s Kingdom. To the family may you find comfort in this as well.
I had the pleasure of working with Tony at United Way. We had many conversations about Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Dorchester, MA, which was my Dad’s church from his childhood through his elder years. Tony was a kind and gentle man who brought a “glass half full” view to every day. My sincerest sympathy to Tony’s loved ones. May your memories of Tony bring you comfort.
