Teresa M. (O’Farrell) Callahan, a retired nursing technician, died at Champion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Brockton, Wednesday March 9, 2011. Born in Nairobi, Kenya she was a nursing technician at Quincy City Hospital. Mrs. Callahan was a longtime resident of Milton. Beloved wife of  37 years to Joseph P. Callahan. Loving mother of Francis M.J. Callahan and his wife Danielle Hanners and Edward M.J. Callahan, all of Georgia, and Thomas M.J. Callahan and his wife Autumn of Indiana. Grandmother of Dillon Hanners and Joseph Callahan. Sister of Maurice O’Farrell of England. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton, Monday March 14 at 10:30 AM. Hugh “Mac” McQueen

Hugh “Mac” McQueen, a retired truck driver, died at his home in Quincy, Tuesday March 8, 2011. He was 71 years old. Mac was a retired truck driver for BFI and a retiree from the Boston Housing Authority. He was a member of the American Legion Post 076 in Jamaica Plain and the South Quincy Social Club. Beloved husband of Helen E. (Ryan) McQueen. Father of John McQueen of Weymouth, Lisa Letton and James N. Miller, both of Quincy and Anthony V. and his wife Frances Miller of Dorchester. Elina Jean Macenat

Elena Jean Macenat died at Boston Medical Center Tuesday March 8, 2011. She was 96 years old.  Beloved wife of the late Jean Macenat. Loving mother of Lockner Macenat of New York, Yvana Macenat of Haiti, Marie Rosette of Haiti, Marie Valceus of Cambridge, Estelle Macenat Vernet of Randolph and Danielle Macenat of Cambridge. Marthe A. Nerette

Marthe A. Nerette was born August 27, 1931, in Lascahobas, Haiti and to Constant Nerette and Aline Jolimeau. She was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She worked at the tax consulate as a processor until retiring in 1984. She loved to travel, and shared those experiences with her children. As the matriarch of the family, Marthe took pride in the lives, accomplishments, and experiences of her children. As the eldest daughter, she always had the natural instinct of a caregiver and nurturer. It is why she chose to retire from her work and emigrate to Boston to care for her children and grandchildren. Marthe is survived by her sisters Herna Nerette and Sylvie Jacob; her two children, Judes Nerette and Marie M. Joseph; her grandchildren Ralph Nerette, Martsyl Joseph, Allex Joseph, and Michelle Cilien; her great-granddaughter, Laila Nerette; her niece, Caridad Pierre; her nephews, Teddy Jean-Poix and Stanley J. Jean-Baptiste; and her long-time close friends Marie-Andre Cilien and Suzelle Dunbar. Marthe was preceded in death by her youngest sister, Raymonde Nerette. Lloyd Morris

Lloyd Morris, a retired warehouseman, died at Hebrew Rehabilitation Hospital, Boston, Sunday March 6, 2011. Beloved son of the late Harold and Helen (Ruebeck) Morris. Philip R. Thompson Sr.

Philip R. Thompson, Sr., of Quincy, Born Nov. 2, 1942, Died Feb. 26, 2011. Husband to the late Sharon (Eaton) Thompson. Father of Philip R. Thompson, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Pembroke, Tracy (Thompson) Chandler and husband Robert and children Aysha, Jeffrey and Patrick of Middleboro, David P. Thompson and wife Elizabeth and children Nicole and Kayla, Susan (Thompson) Lawrence and husband Scott and children Ashley and the late Ava Marie. Brother of Kenyon Thompson and wife Carol of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. Philip served in the Army and worked for 40 years as a deliveryman. Phil loved his wife and family in his own loving ways. Never short of a joke and shared his love for music listening to his old 45 records. Dominic Lafortune

Dominic Lafortune, a retired Boston Public school bus driver of Mattapan MA, died at New England Sinai Hospital after a long battle with lung disease on Thursday February 17, 2011. He was 75 years old. Dominic was born in Marigot, Haiti and migrated to the United States in 1968. He has been a resident of Boston for over 40 years.

Beloved father of Jackson, Rosie, James, Sauveur, Jean Ronald, Jeanine, Dominique, Vladimir and Shirley. He was a loving and devoted grandfather of nine children.

He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Visiting hours will be at Dolan Funeral home 1140 Washington Street, Lower Mills Dorchester, MA on Friday February 25, 2011 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Evo J. Sacchetti

Evo J. Sacchetti, 93, passed away February 23, 2011 in the Caritas Christi Norwood Hospital. Evo was born and raised in Quincy, MA and was a graduate of Quincy High. Upon graduation, Evo  became a golf professional and was an Assistant pro at a local club. In 1941, Evo entered the US Army and served during WW II.

After his discharge from the Army, Evo married his late wife Ethelynn (Riley) Sacchetti.  In the early 1950’s, they settled in Milton. Evo was the manager at the Furnace  Brook Golf Course until 1974. Evo and his wife became founders of Lynn’s Hallmark Cards and Lynn’s Clock and Furniture with stores in Quincy, Weymouth, Somerville and Kingston.

Besides his late wife, Evo leaves 3 sons: Kenneth of Milton, Ronald of Abington and Wayne of Walpole and two sisters, Olga and Amelia. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass  of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church Milton, Saturday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours from the Dolan Funeral Home 460 Granite Ave, MILTON, on Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.

Mark E. Wagner

of Winthrop, February 22, 2011, beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” (Tick) Wagner.  Loving father of Michele of Winthrop.  Brother of Deborah Wagner of Marshfield, Linda Williamson of Kissimmee, FL and William Wagner of Dorchester.

Also survived by three aunts, several nieces and nephews, many cousins and his beloved dog, Gizmo.  Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, on Thursday 4-8 PM.   A reception celebrating Mark’s life will be held Friday, 3-7 PM at Elk’s Lodge, 191 Washington Ave., Winthrop. Joseph W. Leahy

Joseph W. Leahy, a retired analyst, died Monday February 21, 2011 after a long illness. He was 94 ish.

Born and raised in South Boston, he was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Boys. Mr. Leahy retired in 1978 as a compensation analyst for the United States Department of Defense. As a young man he was a ship electrician at the Charlestown Navy Shipyard. Later he was a planner/estimator at the Fore River Shipyard and a contract administrator for the Department of Defense.

A longtime resident of Milton, he has been a winter resident of Florida, St. Pete Beach, since the mid 1980’s. An avid reader, he also enjoyed travelling.

Beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Stanley) Leahy. Loving father of Joseph W. Leahy Jr. and his wife Jeannette of Nashville, TN and Fort Myers, FL, James E. Leahy and his wife Dianne of Fredericksburg, VA and Christopher A. Leahy of Milton. Joe is survived by four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren and brother of the late Margaret Leahy, Edward Leahy, John Leahy, Nancy Field and Mary Leahy.
