Hugh J. Doherty

Hugh J. Doherty, a retired printer, died at Marian Manor, Friday October 21, 2011. He was 90 years old. Born in Ireland, he came to New York in 1926 and moved to Boston in 1933. Mr. Doherty served in the US Army and later lived in Boston and New York, before moving to San Francisco for ten years. He returned to Boston and retired at age 65. Mr. Doherty enjoyed gardening. Son of the late Henry and Bridget (Kearney) Doherty. Brother of  Mary E. McNiff of South Boston and Owen Doherty of Brockton. Predeceased by his brothers; Henry, John, James and Bernard Doherty and his sisters , Rosetta T. Traverse and Frances Doherty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 25 in Saint Agatha Church, Milton at 10:30 AM.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visitation  9 AM-10 AM prior to Mass in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. MILTON. John P. Donahoe

John P. Donahoe, of Canton, Wednesday October 19, 2011. Born in Boston, John was a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1959. He was the past president of J.P. Donahoe Construction and member of the Bricklayers Union Local #3. Mr. Donahoe was a member of New Seabury Country Club and a former member of the Milton-Hoosic Club. Beloved  husband of Joan (Serry)  Donahoe.  Loving father of Debbie Littlefield  and her husband Bob of Hamilton, John P. Donahoe, III and his wife Ann of Franklin, Kevin P. Donahoe and his wife Erin of Milton and Beth A. Rooney and  her husband Larry of Milton.  Brother of Joan Oberland and the late Mary Alice,  James and Joseph Donahoe. John is also survived by 18 loving grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gerard Majella Church, Canton, Monday October 24 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Agnes (Sharpe) Booker died at her home in Mattapan, Monday October 17, 2011. She was 96 years old. Beloved wife of the late John L. Booker. Loving mother of Joseph M. Rawles and the late Ernest L. Rawles and Darcia Rawles. Sister of Sinnie Riley and the late Buster, Willie, Nathaniel, Iris, Neala and IdaMae. Agnes is survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mary E. “Dolly” Conway

Mary E. “Dolly” Conway, of Sharon, formerly of Milton, October 17, 2011. Daughter of the late Christopher and Mary E. (O’Brien) Conway. Loving aunt of  Ann Conway of Sharon and Christopher Conway of Ulster, PA.  Dolly is also survived by her grandnephews Benjamin C. & Lucas M. Huggins. Dolly was active with the Buddy Dog Society (for pet adoption). She was an avid golfer at the Milton Hoosic Club and member of the Charles River Country Club and the Longwood Cricket Club.
