Father of Alex Giovani Myrthil. Beloved son of Albert Jean Louis and Marie Jeanine Jean Louis. Brother of Marie Darly Isaac Jean Louis and Wedney Margally Jean Louis. Dorothy A. (Arruda) Motyka

Dorothy A. Motyka, 96, of Jackson, NJ passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold, NJ.  Born in Hawaii on January 28, 1916 and in 1944 moved to Boston, Massachusetts with her family and later moved to Milton, Massachusetts where she lived approximately 50 years before moving to Jackson, NJ to be with her son and family in December of 2004.  Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Peter Motyka, her son Peter Motyka, Jr. and her sisters Meta Ahlo and Mary Jane Hopfe, Thelma Hill, her brother-in-laws Hugh Hill, John Feiteira, Abraham Ahlo and John Silva. Dorothy is survived by her son Robert Motyka and his wife Gail Motyka, daughter-in-law Mary Motyka, four grandchildren Ann Marie Colletta and husband Salvatore, Suzanne Motyka, Gregory Motyka and Laurie Motyka, great-grandchildren Caroline and Peter Colletta and Isabel Guerrero, sisters Katherine Silva, Jospehine Feiteira and husband James Kahue, brother John Arruda and daughter Sister Joan Paula Arruda of the Daughters of Saint Paul, located in Boston, Massachusetts and brother-in-law Tom Hopfe and many others nieces and nephews. Charles Julian Allen Jr.

On Friday April 19, 2012, Charles departed this life peacefully. Charles was born to the late Charles Julian Allen Sr. and Mary Catherine Allen in Boston, Massachusetts. Charles was a sweet and loving husband, father, grandfather – and a generous friend to all that he encountered. Charles was educated in Boston and also attended the Dale Carnegie Institute. He was employed by The IBM Corporation, dedicating 25 years of loyal service. A number of citations for excellence and appreciation were awarded to him over the years. These would include a Special Service Award from IBM for his ideas that resulted in significant cost -savings for the company. Additionally, he received special awards from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as from the Community Garden Project for his outstanding service to the community. In his personal life, Charles enjoyed fishing, bowling, listening to jazz and calypso music, in addition to being a brilliant chess player. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Ann (Herring) Allen son Elijah, grandson Master Elijah Charles, sister Jane Mayo of Plainfield, New Jersey, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, along with many associates.
