Wilson and her husband Bob of Wakefield, Jeanne Ryder of NY, & Bruce Ryder and his wife Maura of Millis. Sister of Margaret R. O’Keefe and Joseph N. Ryan both of England and the late Anne Ryan. Joseph L. Murphy

Joseph L. Murphy, 88, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Weymouth died on July 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late June (Larson) Murphy. A resident of Weymouth for many years, Mr. Murphy was born in Quincy, on June 17, 1924, the son of the late James and Annie (Griffin) Murphy.  During World War II he served with the Army Air Corps. Before retiring he was employed by Universal Fixtures. He enjoyed  western music, western movies and shows, loved to garden and cook, but most of all he loved his wife of 56 years, June, who died in 2004. Mr. Murphy was the father of   Richard L. Murphy and his wife Christiane of Palm Bay, FL and William R. Murphy and his wife Rosemary of Quincy.  Survived by his grandchildren; Patrick Murphy, Virginie Smith , Amy Murphy and Molly Murphy , a great grandson, Patrick Murphy.   Also survived by his sister, Helen Mitchell of Quincy.  He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24 from 4-8 PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. Milton.  Interment   Blue Hills Cemetery on Wednesday. Sister Mary Gilbert Blake, mfic, a member of the Missionary Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Newton and Chestnut Hill, died at Saint Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, Wednesday July 18, 2012. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Blake. Sister of Br. Tom Blake FSC of Hong Kong, Br. Paddy Blake FSC and Bridget Connors, both of Ireland and Sister M. Aquin, Sister of Mercy, England and the late Gerard, James, Sr. Rose (Sister of Mercy), Martin, Michael, Peter and John. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Mount Alvernia Convent Chapel, 790 Centre Street, Newton, MA 02458, Saturday July 21 at 10:00 AM. Betty Ann Timilty-Tessier, of Wareham, formerly of Milton and Falmouth, July 16, 2012. Devoted daughter of the late Walter F.  and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Timilty.Loving sister of Former State Senator Joseph F. Timilty and his wife, Elaine of Canton, Clerk of Superior Court, Walter F. Timilty and his wife Marcia of Milton.   Survived by special cousin, Dr. Thomas J. Julia T. (Doucette) Bowes, 82, of Quincy died on July 14, 2012 after a long and difficult battle with lung cancer. Resident of Quincy, MA for over fifty years. Daughter of the late Walter R. Doucette and Mary (McCann) Doucette. Born and raised in Dorchester former employee of the Boston Gas Co., and the Boston Globe. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert J. Bowes of Quincy, daughter Paula and her husband John Capeless of Halifax, Mary Bowes of Quincy, Michael Bowes and his wife Cynthia of Squantum, and Robert W. Bowes and his wife Darcy of East Bridgewater. Also survived by grandchildren Jennifer Swinhart and her husband Steven Swinhart of East Bridgewater, Leanne and John Capeless of Halifax, Elise Bowes of Braintree, Allison Bowes of Quincy, Matthew and Katie Bowes of East Bridgewater. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Kylee and Jordyn Swinhart of East Bridgewater. Survived by sisters Virgina Ross of Rutland and Marguerite Svenson of Quincy. Also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend for over sixty years, Eugenia Doucette of Milton. Julia was predeceased by her sisters Mary Kelley of West Bridgewater and Pauline Doucette of Boston as well as her brothers John and Walter Doucette, both of Milton.
