Margaret P. (Sheehan) Tobin of Dorchester, November 2, 2012.  Beloved wife of the late Edmond P. Tobin.  Loving mother of Ned  Tobin and his wife Kathy of Quincy,  Peggy Weeks of Dorchester, Catherine Tobin and her companion Dick Pratt of Marthas Vineyard, David G. “Toby”  Tobin and his wife Lauren of Hanover and the late Joseph Tobin.  Sister of Albert Sheehan of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester and the late John Sheehan.  Grandmother of Kimberly Dowd, Ryan Tobin, Matthew Tobin, Christopher Weeks, John Weeks, Riley Tobin, Danny Tobin and Brian Tobin. Dear friend of the late William X. Teresa Ciulla

Teresa Ciulla (Terri) on October 19, 2012. Born and raised inDorchester,MA, Terri spent summers in Manomet with her extended family of cousins, aunts and uncles with whom she was very close. Daughter of the late Phil Ciulla, Grace Ciulla (Penza) and late brother Steven.  She leaves behind two brothers Philip and Mark Ciulla, nieces Ashley and Cara and a nephew Steven. Terri will be deeply missed and warmly remembered for her big heart, love of family and animals and her wonderful sense of humor. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Gregory’s Church, Dorchester, MA followed by a burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to gather at the McKeon Post from 12-3pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made in contribution to the headstone engraving.

Husband of the late C. Teresa (Ryan) Ryder. Devoted father of Anne R. Wilson and her husband Bob of Wakefield, Jeanne Ryder of NY, Bruce Ryder and his wife Maura of Millis, Amy C. Pickel and her husband Jeff of Plymouth and Julie M. Lammers and her husband Brendan of Milton. Grandfather of Mark Wilson, Michelle Ryder, Daniel Ryder, Julia Pickel and Brian Pickel. Former husband of the late Patricia(Gagnon) Ryder. Funeral service at Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church, 112 Randolph Avenue, Milton, Saturday November 3 at 2:00 PM. Johnnie Henry Bloom, Sr.

Johnnie Henry Bloom, Sr. of Boston, passed away on October 23, 2012. He was a Nursing Assistant of the V.A. Hospital in Jamaica Plain for many years.  The beloved husband of Florine (Fambro) Bloom, devoted father of Johnnie Bloom, Jr. of Malden, Donald David Bloom of Leominster, and Michelle D. Bloom of West Roxbury. Brother of Joseph Bloom of Brockton and Joanne Bloom of West Roxbury. Johnnie is also survived by many grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St, Dorchester on Monday, Oct. 29 at 11AM, Relatives and friends invited. Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Quinn) Flaherty

Elizabeth A. (Quinn) “Betty” Flaherty, of Squantum, formerly of Milton, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2012 surrounded by her family; she was 84. The beloved wife of the late John P. Flaherty, Jr, cherished mother of Elizabeth “Betty Ann” MacRitchie and her husband, Jay, of Squantum, Susan P. McCarthy of Squantum and Lt. John N. Flaherty, Mass. State Police and his wife, Kim, of Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth (Kane) Quinn, both born in Scotland. Sister of Barbara Armstrong of Medfield, Francis Quinn of Northbrook, IL and the late retired Quincy Deputy Fire Chief Neil Quinn, William, James, Helen, Catherine, Jean Quinn, Mary Shepherd and Margaret Stearns. Devoted grandmother of Krystin MacRitchie of New York City, Joseph A. MacRitchie III and his wife Daniella of Quincy and Andrew McCarthy of Squantum. Betty is also a special aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Betty was born and educated in Quincy. Longtime employee of Carney Hospital, retiring in 2008. She was a devoted New England sports fan. She enjoyed traveling, especially on trips to Foxwoods and Disney World with her family. She had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially Blue, Jack and Bear. The essence of her life was her family, faith, and friends. They were the foundation of all that was truly important to her. Betty will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
