Bud took great pleasure in sharing the accomplishments of each and every one.  His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. With his outgoing personality he had a talent for making aconnection with everyone he met. He was truly interested in people. Bud enjoyed current events, music and playing the guitar. weddings and parties when singing Johnny Cash songs. Brenohaire Cesar was born in  Haiti in 1945,  the son of the late George Cesar and Emy  Laguerre. He immigrated to the United States in 1969 as a young man. He worked at the Franklin Park Zoo  for over 16 years as a maintenance and machine operator.  He took pride in keeping Franklin Park neat for all visitors.

His first marriage was with Marlene Cesar, with whom they had children; Patrick Cesar, Magda Cesar,  Brenda Cesar and Christina Cesar who is living in Haiti. He  remarried  Chequote Cesar who he has 2 teenage sons,  Bradley Cesar and  Randy Cesar. His oldest child is Brenohaire Cesar, Jr.

When Mr. Cesar was younger he had many siblings to keep him company. Antoine Cesar, Edmond Garcia, Bertha Cesar, Denise Cesar,  Fritz Cesar, Ernst Cesar, Maurice Cesar, Jeanine Cesar, Marlene Cesar and Linda Cesar.

His number one love was music.  He loved listening to Kompas and French Romance songs.  He was also an Artist who loved to draw almost anything. That was his past times, and loved travel to  his beloved country of Haiti. He got along with everyone, was friendly and always smiling. One thing he was, was a very hard worker. He was very quiet and always kept to himself. If you ask anyone of his friend’s they’ll  tell you that he  was a very honest man.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Angela’s Church, 1548 Blue Hill Ave., Mattapan, Saturday November 16 at 10:00 AM.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am, at the church, prior to the service.  Interment Fairview Cemetery.

John R. Hannigan, died peacefully at home, Wednesday November 13, 2013.  Born in Boston, he was an U. S.  Marine veteran. Son of the late John M. and Alice (Garvin) Hannigan and loving brother of Virginia C. Hannigan and Eleanor H. McKinnon, both of Milton. Uncle of Alan L. McKinnon, Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Marblehead, Dr. Brian J. McKinnon and his wife Caroline of Augusta, GA and Dr. Ian M. McKinnon and his wife Dr Lise McKinnon of Colombia, MD. John is grand uncle of Garrett and Alan III , John, USMC, Caroline and Ellie, Kieran and Melle McKinnon..

Graduate of Milton High School, class of 1945 and Stonehill College, class of 1954.  He was employed at Wheeling Steel Co., in Woburn, then to Hollingsworth Plant and Patriot Paper in Hyde Park, in the shipping department.

He was a lifelong resident of Milton and a communicant at St. Mary of the Hills Church.  During the summer he resided in Brewster, MA.

Joyce Pamela Alexander-Meyers, Auntie Joyce, was born on November 25th, 1943 in the town of Toco, Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. She is the third of five children born to Gertrude Alexander, now deceased. Auntie Joyce is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Charlene, her granddaughter Dalanei, her brothers Carlton and Lenox, her husband and a host of other relatives.

She attended the Progressive High School and the Ogles Commercial School of Port of Spain. In 1967 Auntie Joyce migrated to the United States and settled in Boston, Massachusetts which would remain her home. In 1968 she married Derek Ovid Willoughby and on September 29th,1970 she gave birth to her only child Charlene Lisa Willoughby, whom she and Derek would agree was their life’s greatest gift and crowning achievement.That is of course until their granddaughter Dalanei Chrystina Willoughby came along on February 5th, 1997. In 1995 she married Andre S. Meyers.

She was a wife and mother and continued her education at the Oppor-tunities Industrial Career Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She started her career at the Prudential Insurance Company and later spent 30 years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a Medical Transcriber. She would remain at the Brigham until her retirement in 2005. Additionally, she was a devoted mem­ber of this church, her church, the Church of the Holy Spirit.

But these are just words on a sheet of paper because they don’t capture the essence of who Auntie Joyce was to so many of us. She was such a quiet, gentle and loving soul and was truly beautiful. Like her daughter Charlene said to her father after looking at so many beautiful pictures of her mother, “Now I know why you were chasing after my mother”. She was truly beauti­ful inside and out. She opened up her heart and home to many friends and family over the years.

She was an avid catalog shopper, so much so that the UPS driver would blow his horn everyday whether he had a package to deliver or not. This same UPS driver, Wayne Falconer, would become Dalanei’s father.

Auntie Joyce loved sunflowers. Anyone who visited her home would know that she had sunflower plates, silverware, tea cups, placemats, dish towels, pot holders etc.. Sunflowers also adorned the backsplash in her kitchen and the light switch on the wall. In the words of one of her friends “‘J’ was a sunflower freak”. And even now they adorn her casket.

She was passionate about her Trinidadian roots. She loved jumping up at Carnival time to the sounds of Trinidad All Stars Steel Orchestra and Branches steel band. Who can forget going by to pick her up for Carnival and seeing her decked out in a Trinidad flag outfit that she had sewn herself

She was an excellent baker. The holidays were not complete unless you got sweetbread and carrot cake from Auntie Joyce, and not just one she better make enough because we each needed at least two. And who can forget her pepper sauce? It was always just right.

The last Saturday of August you knew right where to find her. Chipping behind her beloved Branches. Pouring rain – – where’s Auntie Joyce? – – over there with her umbrella chipping behind Branches. Hot sun – – where’s Auntie Joyce? – – over there in the bright orange hat chipping along behind Branches. Oh no we can’t find her – – we left her behind to meet up with us later because she was slowing us down. Really? – – Well where is she now? Up ahead of you jumping up.

And who can forget Auntie Joyce behind the wheel of her car cruising along – – Not! No! Never! Uh-Uh! But she did have her drivers’ license for over 40 years.

Patricia Catherine (Whelan) Wolf of Plymouth, formerly of Milton, died peacefully at home on Nov. 11 surrounded by her family. Patricia was the cherished wife of Charles W. Wolf for 61 years, and beloved mother of Maureen T. Wolf of Sutton, Patricia A. Molloy and her husband Stephen of CT, Charles W. Wolf, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Andover, Anne Marie Palmer and her husband Bruce of Mansfield, Kathleen A. Kenney and her husband David of Plymouth and the late Kevin G. Wolf. Loving grandmother of Cameron, Christopher, Sadie, Michael, and Madelyn. Sister of Edward Whelan of Norton, Paul Whelan of Sandwich and the late Mary Greeley, Claire Radley, John “Jack” Whelan, Joseph Whelan, Leo Whelan, Charles Whelan.

Pat also had many loved in-laws, nieces and nephews, along with a wonderful network of compassionate caregivers who helped her and her husband Chuck throughout her illness. Pat and Chuck lived in Milton for 45 years where they raised their six children before retiring to Plymouth. Pat worked for Fallon Ambulance Service for 25 years as part of the office staff, where her employer and coworkers became a second family to her.  Pat was an active member of the St. Agatha Church Ladies Guild for many years. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed bowling, water aerobics, and trips to Cape Cod and Maine.  Pat loved to spend time with her family, and she made birthdays and holidays very special for all her children and grandchildren.

Patrick J. “Paddy” Nee of Milton, formerly of County Galway, Ireland passed away November 8, 2013 at age 75. Son of Anne Nee and the late Martin Nee of Rosmuc. Beloved husband of Margaret (McDonough) Nee of 49 years.  Loving father of Patrick and wife Patricia Nee of Hanover, Paul and wife SungHee Nee of Hopkinton, Margaret and husband Michael Pellegri of Milton, Eileen and husband Walter Heller of Milton. He was “Dado” to grandchildren Micaela, Christina, Alyssa, and Connor Nee of Hanover, Ashley Nee of Hopkinton, Maggie, Madison, and Mason Pellegri of Milton, and Emma and Wallace Heller of Milton.  Also survived by brothers Coleman, Michael, John and Joseph and sisters Mary, Anne, Bridget, Kathleen, Barbara, Nuala and Angela as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.  Born in Rosmuc, Ireland, Patrick immigrated to Boston as a young man. He served in the US Army during the Kennedy administration. He moved with his growing family to Milton and was a long time parishioner and usher of St. Elizabeth’s Church. He worked for the MBTA and ran a successful real estate business. Paddy’s greatest joys were hearing about his family’s activities and new endeavors. He was always lending his advice, humor and generosity to family and friends.
