Warren P. Morrison

 

Morrison, Warren for website onlyMorrison, Warren P. of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died October 21, 2015 at home with his family by his side.  Beloved  husband of the late Kathryn (Greene) Morrison.  Loving father of Vincent A. Morrison (Dep. Sheriff, Suffolk County Ret.) and his wife Jeanne (Gordon) of Taunton, Leo F. Morrison of Quincy and the late Kathy A. Morrison. Brother of the late  Mary Keeley, Barbara Bobek and Alexander and Leo F. Morrison Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Elizabeth, and Vincent Morrison Jr.  Great grandfather of Jose.

Warren was born and educated in Boston.  He was a member of Local #7 Ironworkers Union for over 30 years, retiring as Chief Bridge Inspector for the MBTA.  Warren was dedicated to his Catholic faith and was a daily communicant at St. Agatha Church in Milton.  He was a proud WWII veteran serving his country in the United States Navy in the Pacific.   Most of all Warren loved spend precious time with  his family who were the cornerstone of his life.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Wednesday October 28 at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours at the  Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, Milton, Tuesday 4-8PM.  Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

 

Donald R. Johnson

Donald Johnson, age 75, of Roslindale passed away October 15, 2015. Husband to Mary Johnson of Wareham,  Father of Donald Johnson Jr  of Onset,  Troy Johnson of Foxboro, Todd Johnson of Fort Pierce, Fl. ,Joy Menard of Tewksbury, and Rebecca Amaral of Wareham. He also leaves behind his  sisters Susan Carroll, Patricia Romaine and Sandra Lynch. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23 at Eastwood Cemetery in Lancaster, MA at 11AM. Charles Dennis of Boston, passed away October 7, 2015. He was the beloved father of Melanie Che Dennis of Milton and cherished grandfather of Chrystian Dennis and Donyee Evans. Michael J. Costello, Age 91, of Milton, formerly of Liscuib, Ballymacward, County Galway, Ireland, died peacefully October 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Catherine (Foley) Costello. Loving father of Ellen Donovan and her husband Edward, Michael Costello and his wife Nancy, John Costello and his wife Shannon, Bernadette McEvoy and her husband Jack, and Marlene Mason and her husband Steven, all of Milton, Anne O’Malley and her husband Martin of Duxbury and Kathleen Krivelow and her husband Steven of Norwell. Cherished grandfather of Edward, Michael and Brendan Donovan, Sarah, Michael and Daniel Costello, Martin and Ruairi O’Malley, Joseph Krivelow, John, Olivia, Caroline and Joseph Costello, Greta, Owen and Luke McEvoy, Steven and Patrick Mason. Son of the late Thomas and Ellen (Keane) Costello of County Galway, Ireland. Brother of James Costello of Duxbury, Mary (Chris) O’Brien of Marshfield, Nancy Townley of Nebraska, Teresa Costello S.P, of Indiana, Margaret Boyd of Weymouth, Agnes Pouliot of Whitman, Thomas Costello of Whitman and the late John and Patrick (Eddie) Costello. Michael is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born and raised in Ireland. He was a contractor in the Boston area for many years. Although he was very dedicated to his work, Michael was a true family man. He enjoyed every gathering and precious moment with his family. He always had a special place in his heart for his seven children and eighteen grandchildren. Michael will be missed by many friends and relatives in both the U.S. and Ireland.

Barbara Ann Mooney

Barbara Ann Mooney entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2015 at age 79.

She had resided for the past ten years at Linden Ponds in Hingham and was raised in Milton, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Meehan) Mooney. Barbara is survived by her sister Margaret O’Sullivan and her husband Paul of Milton and by her cherished niece Dianne Montefusco of Cohasset and her grandnephew and niece, Matthew and Emma Montefusco. She was predeceased by her nephews Paul and Mark O’Sullivan.

Barbara was a graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her B.S. degree at Boston College School of Nursing and her Masters degree in nursing  at Catholic University in Washington DC.

She taught for many years at Northern Virginia College School of Nursing and retired as Director of Continuing Education at Walter Reed Army Hospital.

She served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Nursing Corp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Dolan Funeral Service, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday October 20th. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Church of Saint Elizabeth, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton. Burial services will be private.

Beloved wife of Donald Joseph White. Loving mother of Gregory R. White of Eastham, Helene W. Haddad and her husband Mark of Milton and the late Elizabeth Marie White. Grandmother of John D. Haddad, Katharine H. Haddad and James E. Haddad.

Helene was a lifelong resident of Milton and a graduate of Milton High School class of 1942 and Emmanuel College, Class of 1946.
