Tyler Abraham 1926-2013

 

Surrounded by heartbroken loved ones, Tyler Abraham peacefully entered into rest on June 6, 2013 after a long period of declining health. He is grieved and survived by his loving wife of 61 years Charlotte, mother-in-law Emelia Blackman, sisters Alma Thomas, Minnie Beard and Winnie Gomillion all of Augusta, GA, sons Tyler with wife Sandra of Brockton, MA, and David of Leeds, MA. Granddaughter Anjelica of Abu Dabai, Grandson Tyler III with wife Cheri, great granddaughter Tyree Ann and great grandson Tyler IV all of Attleboro, MA. He will also be dearly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Japeth, Thomas and James Abraham, Jr. and with sisters Gertrude, Terry, Ruth Evans, and Nona Lee Smith. A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 13. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will also be held on Thursday from 9-11 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Tyler’s name to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.

 

Robert C. Forget

Robert C. Forget of Dorchester, June 8, beloved husband of Joan (Barker) Forget. Devoted father of Nancy Kinch and her husband Richard of Dorchester, Jeffrey P. Forget and his wife Nancy of Lee, Peter J. Forget and his wife Ann of Harwich and the late Robert C. Forget. Grandfather of Avery and Emma Forget both of Lee and Denney Forget of Harwich. Mary Theresa Crowley

Mary Theresa Crowley, 86, of Milton passed away on June 6, 2013.  Wife of the late Robert J. Crowley.  Loving mother of Robert J. Crowley, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth and Brian E. Crowley and his wife Maria Cecilia all of New York.  Beloved grandmother of Sarah H. Crowley of Memphis and Charolette T. Crowley of New York.  Theresa  is also survived by her sister Virginia Williams of Duxbury.  She was predeceased by her siblings Edward Byrne, William Byrne and Catherine Gunn.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00 A.M.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Tuesday from 4-8 P.M.  Interment Milton Cemetery. 

James G. Kelley

James G. Kelley, a retired manager for the Real Property Division of the City of Boston, died at Carney Hospital, Dorchester, Friday June 7, 2013. Beloved husband of Barbara (White) Kelley. Father of James W. Kelley of Malden and Matthew G. and his wife Noreen Kelley of Dorchester. Grandfather of Monica, Audrey and Nina Kelley. Brother of Paul J. and his wife Patricia Kelley of Mattapan, John F. and his late wife Christine Kelley of Milton and the late Claire and her late husband Charles Bell, William J. Kelley and Edward P. Kelley. Brother-in-law of Margaret Kelley, Dorothy Kelley and Sandra and her husband Frank Stone. Jim is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mary Louise Greene

Greene_MaryredoneMary Louise (Graham) Green,June 2, 78 died on Sunday June 2 at home amongst her loved ones. She was the wife of Richard J. Greene, with whom she celebrated more than 50 years of marriage.

 Mary was born on May 16, 1935, in Milton, MA, and graduated from Milton High School. Her early life was shared by her sister, Marge and two brothers, Vincent and Leo.

In 1958 she met and married her soul-mate Richard J. Greene, and raised four children. As a loving and supportive wife, their love was apparent to all. As a devout Catholic, her faith guided her throughout her life.

Mary was a home-maker for her children and husband. She spent her career in sales and with her gifts and engaging personality reached a management position, nurturing and helping others achieve.

Mary enjoyed time with her family most of all. The simple pleasure of the beach, camping or the family back yard, as long as her family was together she was happy. When blessed with grandchildren, each was special and treated with love and guidance. Grandma always had an idea, project or solution that made everything wonderful.

Mary will be deeply missed but never forgotten by her husband, Dick, four children, Robert, James, Julie, and Karen; in-laws, Karen, Mary, and Bill; and her five grandchildren Michael, Thomas, Tess, Maggie, and Will.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Agatha’s Church, Milton, Thursday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton, Thursday 9-10 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers and if desired, contributions in Mary’s memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mary E. (Gill) Powers

Mary E. (Gill) Powers, formerly of Milton and Boston, May 29, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Henry N. Oscar Madrid, a retired train conductor, died at Boston Medical Center May 29, 2013. He was 79 years old. Beloved husband of the late Maria T. Madrid. Fr. Fergus A. Healey OFM

Healey_FergusrevFr. Fergus A. Healey OFM, of Saint Anthony Shrine, Boston, May 24, 2013. Fr. Fergus was born to the late John and Nora (Crowley) Healey and baptized John Joseph Healey. He was raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School in 1945 and St. Joseph Seminary, Callicoon, NY 1948. Fr. Fergus is survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Healy, many nieces, nephews and cousins and was the brother of the late Mary Healey, Richard Healey, William David Healey and Constance and her husband Manuel Torregrosa. Following ordination, Fr. Healey served in parishes in Boston, Bronx, NY, Providence, RI, and served as Guardian in Bronx, NY and Boston. He has lived in Boston since March 2006 as an Associate and Confessor. Visiting hours in the First Floor Chapel at Saint Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch Street, Boston, Thursday May 30, 4:00-8:00 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7:30 PM. J. Joseph MacIsaac of Milton, May 27, beloved husband of Elena (Dischino) MacIsaac.  Beloved father of Diane Connolly and her husband Mark of Hyde Park, Teresa Tziatzos of Canton, Thomas MacIsaac and his wife Marie of South Boston, Christopher MacIsaac of East Boston, Scott MacIsaac and his wife Heather of W. Roxbury, Brian MacIsaac and his long time girlfriend Emily Hood of Dorchester and the late Carol Fountain.  Brother of Rev. Charles MacIsaac of New York,  and 7 deceased siblings.
