Beloved wife of the late Alan W. O’Connell. Devoted mother of Alan D. O’Connell of Norwood, Michael D. O’Connell and his former wife Jennifer of Braintree, Kelly Ashley and her husband Robert of Norwell.  Nana of Patrick O’Connell of Bridgewater, Mia & Sophia Ashley, Orla, Maren and Finbar O’Connell. Sister of Charles Pickering, Patricia Gadoury and Linda Mowles, all of Braintree, David Pickering of Milton, Gail Sim of Wareham and the late Barry Pickering and Michael Pickering.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Agatha Church, Milton, Wednesday, January 16, at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Tuesday, 4-8 pm. Interment Milton Cemetery.

Janice was a retired 35 year employee of the Boston Globe Classified Department.
