Beloved daughter of the late Edward F. Cox and Mable (Dalton) Cox.

Ruth was born and raised in Dorchester.  She was a secretary in the Boston Public Schools for many years before retiring.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Thursday August 3 at 10:00.  Visitation in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS Thursday 9am-9:45am.  Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.  ,
