Dear Cadigan Family,
I met your mother many years ago volunteering at the thrift shop. We instantly bonded and became friends. We talked on the phone almost every week since she left Duxbury. We had wonderful stories to tell each other and little gossip sessions. I loved her like a second mother. She always was there for me when I needed her. She loved all her family so much. I will never forget my friend Martha.
God Bless all of you

Dear Cadigan cousins, all of us in Seattle are so sorry to hear of Aunt Martha’s death. She was such a lovely woman, level-headed, matter-of-fact, and light-hearted. My dad was crazy about her, and I feel certain that they are together again, watching over us all. We are thinking of you, and sharing your loss.
