Loving husband of Rita (Coyle) Booth Hotin and loving stepfather to Michael Booth, Diane McKenzie and Christine Booth. Father-in-law to Catherine Booth and Ivan McKenzie. Cherished grandfather (Papa) to Jon, Nick, Alec, Joseph, Sam, Shannon, Jack and the late Rita Christine.

Son of the late Wilfrid J. and Amanda (Lippe) Hotin. Devoted brother to Estelle C. Hotin, and the late Robert, Roland, Lillian and Paul. Special uncle to Marjorie, Jeanne, Maureen, Frank, AnnMarie and Barbara, and the late Marilyn Brown.

Joe will be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran and former owner of the Ambassador Insurance Agency.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Thursday May 12 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment private.
