Marguérite PIERRE LOUIS Born November 29, 1926 and died January 20, 2016. Marguérite was one of four children of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice PIERRE LOUIS Avelie GEROME, both deceased. She was the only one of the four alive. Born November 29,1926,  in the rural town of Citronier in Leogane, after her classical studies, she became a butcher.

Marguérite married Nicolas LAHENS and gave birth to 5 children: Jean Daniel LAHENS, Marie Lourde LAHENS, Ines LAHENS, Roseline LAHENS and Marie Carmen Fleureau, who is deceased. She was a member of the Apostolic Church in Haiti and was known as the bravest girl in the family.

Around the year 1998, Marguérite returned to the United States, where she lived in Boston, MA. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Massachusetts. She was a very persistent lady who loved the Lord. Marguérite died at the age of 90 years. Visiting hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. LOWER MILLS, Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5-8PM. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at the Dolan Funeral Home at 10AM. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
