I was so saddened to learn from my neighbor, Art Shaw, that his step-grandson Arthur had passed away. I met the twins when they were perhaps eight or nine and spent time with Art and Jane just around the corner from my home. Then when the twins entered the sixth grade at Plymouth Community Intermediate School, both were students on my team with Marianne Baird. I am pretty sure Arthur was a member of my homeroom class and his brother in Mrs. Baird’s class. I enjoyed having both boys that year, and I think they made good progress. Over the years since then I have asked Art about the boys. May Arthur rest in peace with our Lord.
