Veronica and extended Donovan family, we have all lost a true gentleman. Matt said little but accomplished much. His legacy will be this: If Matt was your friend, he was your friend for life. If you were lucky enough to be family, then you could not ask for a better role model. Matt will remain forever in our hearts.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. R.I.P. Matt.
May your soul pass through Old Ireland on your final journey home.Rest in peace, Mattie.
Dear Veronica,
Chuck and I are so sorry to hear of Matt’s death — he was a lovely, lovely man, and we are happy to have seen him (and you) at Cian’s First Communion this past spring. We are also sorry that we will not be able to be there for the visiting hours or Mass — we are in Arizona visiting my sister. We will be thinking of you and offer our prayers for you at this sad and awful time for you.
With our condolences, Jane and Chuck Tufts
Dear Mrs. Donovan,
My brother Richard just told me of the wake. I will be coming from my office and will see you by the time you have seen this note. He was a great man and my heart goes out to you. He was always kind to me and I will miss him.
John
Dear Veronica, I had the pleasure of taking care of your husband for about a week this past Summer. He was definitely one of the nicest patients I have ever taken care of. I met you when you came in to visit, I was very pregnant. I feel blessed to have known him. May your memories of him bring you comfort. He is now with his children. Lots of love to you during this difficult time.
