Helen L. Duffy died after a period of failing health, at South Shore Hospital Weymouth, Monday January 19, 2015. She was 81 years old.

Born and raised in Quincy, Helen resided in Quincy until moving to Leisurewoods in Rockland over 20 years ago. She was an administrative assistant, retiring from PKF PC and having been employed by Corner, Dandrow & Co. CPA and the City of Quincy Public Works Dept.

Helen enjoyed vacationing at Sparhawk Resort in Ogunquit, Maine, travelling to Foxwoods and Atlantic City with family and friends and golfing at Rockland Golf Course. She was an animal lover and supporter of the Quincy Animal Shelter.

Beloved daughter of the late Ruth (Landry) and Thomas Joseph Duffy. Sister of Joseph S. Duffy and his wife Rosalie of South Dennis and the late Marjorie Leaman. Cherished Auntie of Robin Goodrich and her husband William of Middleboro, Joanne Monahan of Quincy, Brian Duffy and his wife Cheryl of Holbrook, Shauna Smith and her husband Terry of Nashua, NH and Maura Kelley and her husband Thomas and Sharon Lucido and her husband Joseph, all of Sagamore Beach. Helen is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, Friday January 23 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
