Cecelia M. Coakley, died at her home in Milton, Friday December 5, 2014.

Cecelia was a graduate of Emmanuel College and received her Masters in Religious Education from Emmanuel College. Cecelia worked in the Information Technology Business as a Senior Analyst, Senior Instructor and Senior Technical Writer for various companies, including Gillette, NASA, Tufts University, Cullinet Software, Natick Laboratories and Oracle Software in Burlington, Massachusetts, from which she retired about six years ago.

The highlight of her life was volunteering for over 40 years for the wonderful children and adults of Saint Christopher’s Parish in Dorchester, Mass, with the great pastor Rev. George Carrigg, to spread the word of God.

Beloved daughter of the late Harold J. and Mary E. (Cleary) Coakley. Sister of Ellen M. Coakley, Patricia C. Gird and her late husband John W. Gird and the late Mary C. Coakley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Christopher Church, 265 Mount Vernon Street, Dorchester Thursday December 11 at 10:00 AM. Visitation at the church Thursday at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.  In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Celia’s love, Saint Christopher Parish, 263 Mt. Vernon Street, Dorchester, MA 02125.
