          Dorothy Lee Dunston, daughter of the late John and Rosa Russell Dunston was born June 11, 1934 in Henderson, NC.   She slipped away quietly to be with the Lord 0n June 13, 2014.

After the death of her mother when she was around three years of age, she resided with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Russell in Manson, NC.  She received Christ at an early age and joined Burchette Chapel United Christian Church.  She later moved her membership to The Refuge Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, where she received the message to be  baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  She remained a faithful member until she moved to Randolph, MA ten years ago.

She will be dearly missed.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Amy Russell of Randolph, MA, one son, Otis Dunston and his wife Loretta of Stoughton, MA,  seven sisters, Ida McAffee of Dorchester, MA,  Lucy Russell of Randolph, MA,  Annie Ablorh of Milton, MA,  Bernice Watkins of Largo, MD, Barbara Williams of Randolph, MA,  Vivian Corbett of Quincy, MA, Brenda Foster of Henderson, NC; two brothers,  Melvin Russell of Roxbury, MA,  William Russell, of Randolph, MA.   She will also be greatly missed by a host of other relatives, church family and friends.

We will miss her smile, but her legacy of love will continue through the many lives she has touched.  We know, that God never makes a mistake.  We have that blessed hope that we will soon be caught up together with her in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 11:00 AM at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester – Lower Mills.  Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
