To the Larson Family,
I met Mrs. Larson many years ago on the train ride into Boston. My mother and I used to go into town together and rode on the redline. She was a sweet lady and always had a great smile!
I came upon her obituary by accident as I was looking up a friend of my brother-in-law’s who passed away (Tom Joyce) and came upon the picture of Mrs. Larson. She looks just as I would’ve remembered her. I always liked your mother!
Carl, I remember meeting you as well. I am sorry to hear about your mom. I, too, lost my mother in 2000. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her.
I believe we met your mom shortly after we moved from Dorchester to Squantum which was back in the 70’s!
Seeing the picture of your mother brought back some nice memories!
Take care.

We go back a long way with your mother in Dorchester. She was a close friend of Dorothy Carter who was my mother-in-law and I think my aunt Anna Westhaver. I just happened to see the notice while checking on someone else. Dorothy also went to the Epithany Church on Norfolk Street and I remember also All Saint’s Church at Ashmont Station. Her smile and friendliness was contagious. I remember one Easter at the Epithany bringing my young son there and your mother giving out potted flowers to all the children. That was many, many years ago. I am sure you all know she will be truly missed. Sincere sympahy from all of us.
