Ida Watson Jones
Ida Watson Jones, 43, of Boston died peacefully in Mass General Hospital on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Born in Boston, Ma. on April 28, 1970. Daughter of Leon “Bubby” Watson, Sr. and the late Ellen “MA” Watson. She was the wife of Dexter Jones. Ida was the loving mother of Nathan Watson, Desmond Lambright, Ashley Lambright and James “Peanut” Watson. Also survived by her grandchild Nathan Messiah Watson. Sister of James Watson, Ronald Watson, Leon Watson II, Paul Watson, Sheila Watson, Leona Watson, and the late Vanessa Watson.
A life long Boston resident, Ida was friendly, caring and a good listener. Ida was a graduate of Madison Park High School. She was a person of many accomplishments. Ida attended Rob Roy Academy where she obtained a cosmetology certificate. She received a pharmacy training certificate from the Health Training Center. She also received a medical office specialists certificate. A beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandmother, Ida enjoyed being around her family and friends.
Funeral Service to be celebrated in Jubilee Christian Church, 1500 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan., Friday, June 28 at 11:00 o’clock. Visitation at the church prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park, Saturday, June 29, at 11:00 o’clock

I remember the first time I sew you … You were so smiley and bubbly. Coming to work with you everyday was a lot of fun. You were always smiling no matter what. I remember the times you used to talk about your family,husband and kids. I remember when you said you had to work harder because your kids loved Steak. You have always treated me with so much respect and Kindness. When I got sick with Asthma you were the only one who were actually able to understand and supported me. Ida thank you so much for your kind words, thanks for being so friendly, so lovely and so special. Sorry you had to depart so early and under these conditions. You will be missed a lot Sunshine!!!
