Dan Rick & Steve,
It was with great sadness that Kristen & I learned of your beloved mother Imelda’s recent passing. She certainly was a wonderful women, and mother to you all! We fondly recall the many meaningful conversations we had with over the years, both there in Boston and also here in PEI, where she was born and always visited as often as possible during her life.
Never one to be shy with eloquently expressing her opinion, it was always interesting to solicit Imelda’s good advice and listen to her point of view on issues of importance. Even in recent years, as she aged, Imelda still often impressed us with her great awareness of topical issues and obvious passion for subjects important to her.
As parents ourselves for many years, Imelda was a source of real inspiration to Kristen & I due to her ability to successfully raise, you initially very young boys on her own, after your father was taken from you all much to early many years ago. In addition, Imelda was also always very generous with her time, and was frequently available to assist seniors and others in need. We know you boys will all miss your dear mother very much.
Please know Kristen & I share in your grief at this sad time of her passing, but join you in celebrating her wonderful long life. We can all take comfort in the many great memories we share over the many years that we all had the pleasure of knowing Imelda!
With our deepest sympathy, Joe & Kristen
Dear Danny, Ricky, and Stevie,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother passing away. My deepest sympathies to each of you and your families. I wish I had been able to go down for the wake and funeral, but unfortunately circumstances prevented that.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
Your mother was a beautiful lady and will be missed. I am sure her funeral will be a wonderful tribute to her.
I look forward to your next visit to the Island.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann

Dear Dan, Rick & Steve,
Deepest sympathy to you and your families on the loss of your Mom. Kipp told us about visiting with you and hearing your fond memories of visiting Bath. I remember when you use to come visit Nana with Aunt Amelia…seems like so long ago. Everyone is so busy these days families lose touch and seldom get together. All the best to you and yours!
