a Marine Corps veteran, died suddenly, Tuesday March 3 at his home in Dorchester. He was 60 years old.

Born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park, he graduated from Hyde Park High School, Class of 1966 and attended Boston State College. He joined the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. Mr. Connors was a longtime employee of the United States Postal Service at the General Mail Facility in Boston.

Beloved son of the late John D. and Anne (McDonough) Connors. Brother of David F. and his wife Fran Connors of Dorchester and John M. Connors of North Hampton, MA. Uncle of Jeremy Connors, Bridget Pinsonneault and Matthew Connors. Stephen is also survived by several cousins and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Monday March 9 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Sunday 3-6 PM. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Monday at 12:45 PM.
