of Braintree, formerly of Pembroke, died at her home after an illness on June 28, 2009.

Born in Boston, Mrs. Allison was raised in South Boston and Weymouth. She graduated from Weymouth High School and Boston State College. She taught in the Hartford, VT public school system, then raised her family in Pembroke and Braintree, MA.

For several years, Mrs. Allison worked as a tax administrator at Nedel, Welch and Stone, CPA of Rockland.

In her spare time, Mrs. Allison enjoyed running, photography and spending time with family.

Beloved wife of Stephen D. Allison. Mother of Jamie E. A. Brown of Boston, Lyndsey M. Allison of Quincy, Stephen D. Allison of Boston and Gregory D. Allison of Braintree. Sister of Walter Costello of Pembroke, Kevin Costello of Florida and Alan Costello of Weymouth. Grandmother of MacKenzie, Ronan and Callahan Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held in Old South Union Congregational Church, 25 Columbian St., Weymouth on Thursday, July 2 at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
