Emily Adelaide (Robertson) Lane

died peacefully at Marina Bay Nursing Home, Tuesday July 7 at the age of 97.

She was born and brought up in Boston and attended the Boston Public schools. When she married her late husband John E. Lane, they moved to Milton where she resided for 71 years. Emily was an avid reader, gardener and loved to do crossword puzzles.

She is survived by four children, John Lane and his wife Joan of Brewster, William Lane and his wife Mary Ellen of John’s Creek, GA, Judith Lane of Milton and Mary (Lane) Foley of Quincy. She is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Callahan of Marshfield and Bea Mulrean of Margate, FL. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Matilda Barney, Eleanor Morrison and Charles, James and Kenneth Robertson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral service at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Saturday July 11 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hour 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
