Linda A. (Palmer) Mahoney
Linda A. (Palmer) Mahoney, suddenly, of Marshfield, formerly of Milton passed away December 24, 2011. Linda graduated from Milton High School class of 1962 and later graduated from Massasoit Community College, School of Nursing, Brockton in 1981. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was a member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club. She enjoyed traveling, and boating with her grandchildren. Linda was the beloved wife of the late John F. Mahoney. Loving mother of Kerrie Gendreau and her late husband Paul, Janice Steinberg and husband Kurt, Kristin Haddigan and husband Patrick all of Marshfield, Maureen Clark of South Weymouth and Christine Fennelly and husband Lawrence of South Boston. Cherished grandmother of Justin, Nick, Tayla, Kaleigh, Julia, Brendan, Colin, Charlie and Benjamin. Sister of Donald Palmer of Milford. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church Milton on Friday December 30, 2011 by the Reverend Mark Murphy. Entombment was in Blue Hills Cemetery. Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
