Chuck-When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a wonderful treasure to always hold in your heart miss you forever & always.
Heaven called upon you one year ago today,
leaving so many words left to say.
But now it’s too late, for your time had come,
words unspoken; I am sure everybody has some.
Regrets and wishes are probably there too,
but lasting forever are memories of you.
I was there when you needed a place to stay,
just like you would be there for me night or day.
There have been many times that we disagreed,
but we were there for each other in time of need.
Now it’s time for me to say Good-Bye,
until we meet again in heaven to fly.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you for one reason or another, missing you with all my heart. I miss you big brother.
There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t have some memory of you that makes me laugh. Every now and then I have one that makes me cry but for the most part thoughts of you are full of joy.
Like creek-walking and catching fish. You always did teach us to commune with nature. Or the now infamous in my house “huh-what cave man conversation.” A couple of weeks ago I was rooting for Boston for you and just a few days ago I shared the ketchup story.
I’m sure you’ve got Grandma, Grandpa & God doubled over in laughter right now. You didn’t get to hold your new niece but I know that’s you whispering in her ear when she breaks out giggling in the middle of her sleep.
We will never forget you and always love you.
Hey big brother, I have been thinking about you a lot over the past couple of weeks. I have had dreams of you, mom and dad. I know you are all well. I have been praying for Tony..he needs you to give him a gentle angel-ly nudge in the right direction. I love you and miss you. Hug mom and dad for me.
