Alice Burke
Alice Burke, 90 of Boston, fell asleep in Christ, Tuesday October 27, 2020.
A kind, loving, patient, gentle, and generous woman of faith. A woman of grace and humility. Her quite soft spoken demeanor belied the strength of her character. Throughout life, she quietly and proudly carried her faith and bore witness for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7

Ms. D has always been close in my heart and never far from my thoughts. May you rest in heaven.
Missed You Mom.
If there was a definition for best grandmother it will be you!!! Love you more then you grandma.~ sha❤️
My wife, son and I would like to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Burke Family. Mama Burke as I like to call her was indeed one of my many spiritual mothers. I had the distinction of visiting with her at the nursing home prior to the pandemic. It was a delight to see her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Keep faith, cherish the memories and keep holding on to God’s unchanging hand.
Although I’ve never met Mrs. Burke, her daughter Viv and I have been friends for many years. She always spoke fondly of her Mom, her love for her was apparent. My condolences to Viv and the rest of the family. Be comforted in knowing you will see her again “in that great getten up morning!”

As you grieve with thanksgiving for a life well lived, know that we are praying for all of you. We pray you continue to experience the legacy of faith, love, and kindness that she has left you all. Be encouraged in knowing that she is with the Lord, whom she has served with joy and thanksgiving over the years.
“…These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb.” Revelation 7:14

May we be comforted by the beautiful memories of our loving Aunt D.
Rest in peace!!
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Burke Family.
We will not all die as Ms. Burke has died. But all of us, those who have died and those who live, we all be changed. It will be in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. Indeed, that trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised never to decay, and we will be changed.
What a day that will be when our Jesus we shall see. When we look upon His face, the one who saved us by His grace. When He takes us by the hand and lead us to the Promised Land; what a day, glorious day that will be!
May the peace of God be with you until you meet again in the New Jerusalem.
