Michael Eric Greene, “Mr. Mike”  died at his home in Dorchester on December 13, 2020. 

Born on August 15, 1947 to Mary Waneta (Pocknett) Greene and Warren F. Greene.  Super brother of Grace Ilona Stith of Bridgewater, Murleen Jackson of Dorchester and Warren G.E. Greene of Boston. Uncle of Apryl Stith Edlund and her husband Nicholas Edlund and Marlo L. Stith.  Great Uncle of Hannah G. Edlund and Noah A. Edlund.  

Michael was a retired MBTA machinist and member of the Carmen’s Union. He was an avid cyclist, known for his long-distance trips from Boston to his sisters’ homes on the South Shore.  Michael’s greatest passion was his art in many mediums. He was a champion at table tennis.

In his earlier life he was an auto mechanic and avidly restored cars including his beloved Porsche and KarmannGhia. All things Michael took an interest in were done exceptionally well. Michael’s beautiful spirit will always be with us.
