I am so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn’t seen Judy for quite a few years, I vividly remember her at various family gatherings. She was always genuinely interested in others and had quite a sense of humor! My thoughts and prayers are with the Alexander family during this difficult time.

To the Alexander family,
Our deepest sympathies to each of you on the passing of Judy. Judy held a special spot in our hearts and we have many fond memories with her throughout the years. We will remember her dry sense of humor, her stories, the travels that she and Marie shared, as well as the many celebrations she shared with us. She was truly special and we were blessed to have her in our lives. Thank you for sharing her with us.
With love,
Mary Ann (Higgins), Don, Robert & Alison Cuddahy
Judy was a treasured, beloved friend for over 50 years, and a wonderful companion on the trips we took with Marie and Sydelle. She has been missed since the start of her illness and will always be in my memory.
Miss Alexander was my sixth grade teacher at Greenlodge School. She was such a wonderful teacher who showed patience and love, and was so kind to me in so many ways. I am very sorry to hear of her passing, and extend my condolences, She was such a wonderful lady.
Dearest Bruce, Mary Jane, Jane, Susie, Kate and Family, I just learned of Judy’s passing by my niece, Molly Davis. I am so sad and incredibly sorry for your loss. It is a great loss to our family as well. My children, Matthew and Ella, and I loved Judy very much. We were not able to visit her for a long time due to Covid, but we mailed her cards and pictures to remind her that she was always in our thoughts. The last time the kids and visited Judy at Marina Bay, she looked beautiful. She was dressed and almost “waiting” for us to arrive in the hallway. She was so happy to see Matthew and Ella. My favorite memories of Judy were with Marie – two best girlfriends who shared so much of their lives together…memories, families and travels. In addition, Rob and I always hosted Christmas when we were married. It was my favorite holiday. Visions of Judy arriving with her driver (because she didn’t want to put anyone out), smiling with her walker as she entered our mudroom, and holding a fruit tray bigger than life will always put a smile on my face. Finally, Judy generously invited Joan, myself and the kids (Matthew, Ella and my nephew, DJ) over to her Brush Hill home for lunch (and sometimes a swim!) on many occasions. I would bring desserts from White’s Bakery and we would go up to her home after lunch for a nice visit and great conversation. Judy always spoke of her family and loved updating us on her beloved nieces and their families. Judy was a treasure. So smart, quick-witted and incredibly kind and generous. We are sending our love to your family and will keep Judy in our thoughts, prayers and favorite memories forever. With Heartfelt Sympathy and All Our Love, Suzânne Cayer and Matthew and Ella Higgins
So very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
Miss Alexander was a strong leader as principal of the McKay School in Beverly. She cared deeply about the students, teachers, and staff. The three Renaissance years at McKay were wonderful. We still enjoy memories of the Winter Revels!
I was sorry to read of Judy’s passing. She and my late mother Janet Schlein were colleagues in the Beverly Public School system and friends. She often visited our home.
As a high school student in the 1970’s, I was so impressed by Judy as a professional woman when there were precious few role models. She was always elegantly dressed, well read with keen observations and a sharp wit.
May your memories bring you comfort.

I was fortunate to have taught under Judy from 1983 until her retirement. Every time I drive past the old McKay School I think of all the wonderful years we had under Judy’s leadership. She provided the children with so many special projects and experiences that we all remember today. As I look back on my 39 years in education, my years at McKay School under Judy were the best of my career. She was an inspiration to us all. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
Sending condolences to your family. I worked for Judy as a teacher at the Mc Kay School in Beverly. She had a profound influence on me as a teacher. I considered her to be a mentor but more importantly a friend. She touched the lives of many who were fortunate enough to have met her. She was a leader who was very innovative and forward thinking. She led children to the arts and enriched us all in unique ways. Thinking of you at this difficult time of loss.
The class of 1951 will remember Judy when our reunion is next held. Friends will remember her and celebrate the years we knew her. With happiness we will enjoy her work of her teaching years.
All children should be so fortunate as to be greeted by a principal like Judy Alexander. She was there at the door when bringing my first born to kindergarten. She served as a guiding light at theMcKay School Community. We have such fond memories.
