40 years ago driving to NH Craig asked Terry for $s to get through the toll. Terry gave Craig a $20 spot. Craig gave the toll taker the $20 spot, and drove on and we all laughed and laughed. Terry said Craig ??? And Craig said OK I will pay for your dinner. At dinner Terry asked the waitress what was the most expensive meal. She said Pork Chops and Terry said I will have a double order and he laughed and laughed. To me that was Terry – a great friend with a wonderful sense of humor.
I am sure he is in Heaven making The Lord Smile!
When a close friend is called home by God there always is sadness. We have faith that this will subside into wonderful memories.
Terry was a constant, affable, and loyal presence in our lives. He and Donna were loving lifemates, workmates, parents, and grandparents.
As we celebrate Terry’s life there will be many memories of pranks played, stories shared, and his life of service to Milton, and Rotary. Godspeed Terry.

Mr. McGovern gave me my first job at 14. He trusted me as a young teenager to sell and assemble equipment for him. He would give me a ride home to the other side of town after work so I didn’t have to take the bus home. My family would go to the cape for the summer and he hired me back every year through high school. To the McGovern family I am sorry for your loss. It was 32 years ago when he first hired me and I appreciate all that he taught me.
Terry is sure to be welcomed to Heaven where he’s in great company with all his friends. Terry and my Dad, Clifton DiTullio, had great times in Milton and gave so much to the Town with their Rotary Club work. Loved visiting Arthur’s Equipment and Terry’s great help with any nonworking machine. Terry, Thanks for the great memories and friendship to so many. Our thoughts and prayers to all the family. We were lucky enough to be across-the-street neighbors to Terry and Donna and the girls in the early ’80’s. They were always generous, helpful and funny. The girls taught our kids the proper Boston pronunciation of certain words like “wicked”. We have had the McGoverns in our thoughts all these years, after we moved. We are so sorry to hear about Terry’s death. Much love to Donna and Jean and Jennifer and their families.
