Leslie A. McLean

Leslie A. McLean, 93, of Boston, passed away July 5, 2019 with his loving family by his side.

Born in 1926 in Manchester Jamaica, West Indies to Clarence and Gladys “Susan” (Hutchinson) McLean.  Always an organized man, Leslie’s organization was certainly reflected in how he kept his home, his car and even his bills.  He enjoyed walks in the morning and evenings and was an avid Red Sox fan.  He never missed a game on TV and was excited to see them win the World Series last October.

Devoted husband of the late Elodia (Edwards) McLean.  Loving father of Kenneth McLean and his wife Daphne of NJ and Leslie McLean, Jr., of Mattapan.  Devoted grandfather of Melissa McLean Campbell of NJ and great grandfather to Jaylen and Malaya Campbell.  Brother of Joyce Richards, Amy (Wellington) McLean, Susalin Durham, Patsy McLean, Lester McLean, Roy McLean, Clarence McLean, Joslin McLean, Joseph McLean and Hector McLean.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 525 River Street, Mattapan, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00 am.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.  A visiting hour will be held at the church immediately following the service from 9 – 10 AM.  Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
