John Dooley, 87, of Dorchester, formerly of Ardrahan County Galway, Ireland, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 14, 2019.
Beloved husband of Kitty (McDonagh) Dooley. Devoted father of Mary Dooley of Boston, Barbara Dooley of Dorchester, John Dooley and his wife Linette of Columbia, CT., Kathleen Hickey of Milton, Margaret Dooley of Dorchester and Karen Stockbridge and her husband Steven of Milton. Cherished grandfather of Brendan, Kate, Sean, Danny, John, Meaghan, Maggie, Matthew and Jack. Loving brother of the late Anthony (Tony) Dooley and sister Mary Doran of Ireland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Gregory’s Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Thursday, January 17t at 11:00 AM. Relative and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday, January 16 4-8 pm. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time. We go back such a long time. I remember Johnny coming to pick Kitty up on Pond Brook Rd to go to the Irish Dancers. Think of all the happy times and the
