Condolences to family and many friends.
We worked together many times and for many years in track & field. RIP my friend!
Meeting Dudley in the mid 70’s Dudley was very helpful to a rookie coach. He was supportive, encouraging and more than generous with his time.
He not only was a legend in Mass. track – a true icon. Dudley was a man of compassion, understanding supportive.
He will be truly missed but his legacy will last generations of coaches – students and track athletes .

My condolences to all of Dudley’s family. I was a first-year track coach at the junior high level and Dudley could not have been more helpful in getting me started on a ten-year coaching career. Dudley was available, helpful and action-oriented. His enthusiasm and support were most appreciated. He did it all for the young athletes of Weymouth.
