George S. Watson of Milton died peacefully at home October 23, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Marina (López) Watson.  Devoted father of George A. Watson and his wife Janet of Mansfield, Paul M. Watson and his partner Archy Cheang of Palm Springs, California, Lynda J. Watson and her partner Robert Bowlby of Milton and the late Thomas A. Watson.  Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  

 George was born in San José, Costa Rica in 1922 and came to the US in 1941.  He was the founder and owner of Watson Leather Co. of Boston. He was an award winning photographer, avid stamp collector and world traveler. 

 A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday October 29, 2018 at 10 am in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, Milton. Relatives and friends are invited.  Visiting hours on Sunday October 28, 2018 4:00 -6:00 PM at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, East Milton Square.  Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011.
