MINICHIELLO, Patricia Marie (Flynn), 83, of Milton and Manomet, Massachusetts passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Buzzards Bay, MA from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Pat, as she was lovingly called by her friends and family, was the cherished wife and companion for sixty-one years to her devoted husband, Robert of Manomet.  She is also survived by her five adoring children and their families:  Marie (James) O’Neill, William (Dara) Minichiello, Laura (Tab) Warlitner, John (Kate) Minichiello and Julie (Stephen) Coote.  Pat was a doting grandmother to her twelve grandchildren, who called her Grammy –  Julianne O’Neill and her fiancé Drew DiBenedetto, Robert and James O’Neill, Brian Warlitner, Kara Daniels and her husband Josh, Kristen Warlitner, Ryan, John and Katelyn Minichiello, Julia Minichiello and Eaghan and Christian Coote. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Moynihan, two great grandchildren, Amelia and Madeline Daniels, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The daughter of Martin and Nora Flynn, Pat was born on September 28, 1934 in Boston, MA and grew up in South Boston.  She met her future husband when she was 15 years old and they created a life devoted to each other, centered on their family and grounded in their Roman Catholic faith as loyal parishioners of Saint Agatha’s in Milton and Saint Bonaventure’s in Manomet.  After their marriage, Pat and Bob lived in Dorchester before moving to Milton in 1968 to raise their children, spending summers in Manomet for over 30 years before moving there permanently in 1997.

Pat was an amazing baker, cook and homemaker who doted on her family. She especially enjoyed holidays and one of her greatest joys was decorating her home and entertaining her friends and family.  Pat was a talented seamstress, making many of her own and her childrens’ clothes over the years and also was skilled in knitting, macramé and crochet. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do.  Her Catholic faith was strong, as a member of St. Agatha’s parish she taught Sunday School and sang in the St. Agatha’s adult choir for many years.  Pat was a dedicated mother to her five children and you could always find her on the sidelines of a baseball field, in a gym, on a court, attending a band concert, community or school event.  An avid walker, Pat spent many mornings walking around the sugar bowl at Castle Island with her friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World which she visited 27 times with her husband.

She will always be remembered for her classic style, family values and infectious smile.  She was a friend to all and second mother to many, who made everyone she met feel welcome in her home and in her heart no matter who they were or where they came from. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton on Monday September 17, 2018 at 10:30 AM.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, East Milton Square on Sunday, September 16^th from 4:00 – 8:00PM.  Interment will follow the Mass at Milton Cemetery.
