Patricia Ann (Manion) DiRico

Patricia Ann (Manion) DiRico, of Milton, died peacefully, surrounded by her children Monday, September 17, 2018. She was 86 years old.

The daughter of the late Joseph Manion and Jeannette (MacPherson) Manion, she was raised in Waltham, Massachusetts graduating from St Mary’s High School. She married the love of her life Henry DiRico of Milton, MA. They were married for 50 years. They enjoyed wonderful friendships skiing in North Conway, NH, playing golf at The Wollaston Golf Club in Milton and Hobe Sound in Florida. She loved to travel and cook, often recalling her cooking skills from a trip to Paris

La Varenne culinary school. Pat loved to throw a good party and with her piercing blue eyes and magnetic smile her grace and elegance would light up the room. A vivacious gardener she loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Her main focus was being an extraordinary mother to her four children and later a grandmother to 13 grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Henry A. DiRico. Loving mother of H. Anthony DiRico and his wife Jennifer of Milton, Francesca DiRico of South Boston, Maria Temple and her husband Brian of Westwood and Rose Miller and her husband Peter of Scituate. Grandmother of Olivia, Henry Anthony III, Charles, and Nicholas DiRico; Madison and John McCormack “Mac” Feeney; Simone, Von and Dresden Temple; Isabella, Harry, Alessandra and Frankie Miller. Sister of the late Donald J. Manion and his wife Nancy Manion of Larchmont, NY, the late Joseph E. Manion Jr. and his late wife Kathy of Weston and the late Janet (Manion) O’Connor of Tampa, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Saturday September 22 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
