Mary “Patsy” Moran
Mary P. “Patsy” Moran of Dorchester died on September 28, 2018. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick J. and Mary (Conway) Moran. Devoted sister of John J. Moran and his wife Jeanne of Weymouth and the late Thomas J. Moran. Cherished aunt of Cynthia Go and her husband Samuel, John J. Moran, Jr. and his wife Cynthia, and Trisha Moran and her fiancé Joe Donovan. Great-aunt of Sophie and Nicholas Go, Megan and Brendan Moran, and Madeline Laderoute. Dear friend of Josephine Lacey of Quincy.
Patsy was an employee of J. Baker Shoe for 39 years and was active in her community throughout her life. Patsy was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and had many friends and good times as a member of several clubs, especially the Irish Pastoral Center. Patsy was happiest planning parties for her friends and making holiday gifts and decorations for everyone she knew. Her family would like to thank everyone at Hancock Park who embraced Patsy’s exuberant personality over the past year and helped her to continue the festivities. Patsy will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, and for always finding a reason to celebrate.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday morning from 8:30am-10:30am in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00am in Saint Marks Church, 1725 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patsy may be made to the Irish Pastoral Center, 15 Rita Road, Dorchester, MA 02124.

I remember Patsy from the 7:30am Mass @ St. Peter’s Church on Sunday mornings. Always such a warm, friendly and happy woman! Prayers for Patsy & Family, may she rest in the sweetest peace.

Dearest Patsy, (Pat) how you will be remembered so fondly and loved so much. I don’t know what my husband and I would of done at times without you. Your love, fun, generosity all my beautiful gifts from Ireland that I still have some you bought me. You were such a pure soul with such a gentle golden heart. How you loved my children as you were their Aunt and babysat anytime we needed you. How you were so lost when we loss my dearest Mom that you were like a sister to. How we all loved you and your beautiful family. All the cooking you & mom did and your beautiful cakes for the kids the two of you were so funny! You are dearly missed always.
